  1. There’ll be just as many “coursing breds” around that aren’t worth a shilling as any other type of lurcher. Take off the rose tinted glasses they’re not all world beaters
  2. As said won’t matter but once you’ve had him vasectomised you’ll need to check it’s worked with an unrelated Jill
  3. Liked the look of the Mali x grey bitch
  4. It’s not my box mate but I’ll be asking the question next time I hear it!
  5. I don’t know if anyone else has had anything to do with the blue one but they beep twice as loud as the yellow box and I don’t think they’re as accurate either
  6. There are some malinois greyhound x collie greyhound pups for sale on pets 4 homes
  7. I didn’t disagree with what you said I only stated that it was probably easier to source a stud that as you put, competed at the highest level than most bitches you could get your hands on. And of course the majority of first cross litters have the greyhound as the dam no matter what the sire is. There probably aren’t many scenarios in which it would be feasible to have the greyhound as the sire especially if pastoral/terrier or bull type bitches being the dam
  8. I think it depends on the first crosses you intend to produce. And it’s probably easier to source a stud that’s done what you’ve stated and to a higher standard than most bitches you’re likely to get your hands on
  9. Just a white splodge disappearing into the distance
  10. Were these not being bred a while back, pocket rockets or something?
  11. Is that right? Seeing a wave of pics and vids at the minute of the Aussie lads foxing, look like they’re getting in to decent numbers!
  12. It’s likely you’ll have to send it back over there to be unlocked, gps4us.com is who you need to contact. They’re spot on
  13. I knew an old keeper who had one bred the same way, what a handy little dog she was! Worth her weight in gold
  14. Seen a reply on one of the Facebook posts concerning this and it was a screenshot of his Facebook where he had put a post on saying “sad day in the kennels R.I.P” and a few pictures of a black terrier in the comments some people asked what had happened, he then says he’s shot the dog because it barks and was winding up his other dogs. One of his pals commented saying they could tell he was a true terrier man for doing this as it showed he doesn’t keep shit
  15. That’s why I’d never have one, I’d always go for a greyhound x for the sake of a couple of inches in difference in height you’re going to get a much more versatile little lurcher
  16. Exactly that mate, a lad I used to knock around with in my early teens had a first cross beddy grey he was only 22.5 at the shoulder, and to this day probably one the best little allrounders I’ve seen, looked a bit like some of the heartbreak fell dogs I’ve seen posted on here
  17. When people say there’s no “proper working bedlingtons” do they mean earth dogs? If so what’s the requirement that the sire would need to be an earth dog to produce ratting/rabbiting dogs? Surely there’s plenty of bedlingtons doing just that, and as charts says what does it matter if there’s a % of something else in them
  18. Good response mate thanks They’re two stunning bitches and I’m sure the old bitch gave you many happy memories and I hope your current one continues to give you many more to come. I’ve never seen a deerhound cross in full fight sadly, my current charge probably has somewhere in the region of a 1/4 in him not that you’d know it to look at him and I had his uncle before that but he only had about 1/8 however I think they were better for it!
  19. How would you compare the two at the same age/level of experience?
