  1. Good result for you lads, looks like some nicely marked pups
  2. Have a look for ratting groups in your local area, most seem to have a Facebook page, might be worth a try. Or even beating, avoid the commercial shoots but if you can get on with a walk one stand one type syndicate, I’ve known plenty lads with bushers beating on those sorts of days always good craic as well
  3. Seen them copied a bit by lads over here, none ever look as good as the Irish ones. Shame they’ve packed in
  4. Looks a picture. Be interesting to see how they go, all the best with them
  5. I’d say whoever it is, is American judging by the posts
  6. Interesting set up, thanks for sharing. The break down .22 looks a handy bit of kit
  7. Pleased it’s worked for you, earlier in the year I had an ai fail with a greyhound. I’d actually been given the number for the lad who you went to but I went elsewhere, maybe should’ve went there after all. A mate also had a blank two weeks earlier from another greyhound, natural mating that time. Funny buggers. How come you lads didn’t go with max’s dog in the end if you don’t mind me asking?
  8. I’ve just had a similar problem, one v hob done this spring. Put in with two jills and he brought them out of season then a couple of months later I noticed the Jill’s dragging each other about and one of them was back in season, hob not interested. Kept an eye for a few days and no sign of her swelling going down. I took him out for a week and put him back in, initially I didn’t think he was interested in her but he must’ve mated her as she’s now out of season
  9. Two nice pups all the best with them
  10. I spoke to max a while ago about using a straw and he put me in touch with the stud clinic directly and turns out the bitch has to go there as soon as she starts her season and then they handle all the ovulation testing, the thawing of the straw and then the implant. It was going to be quite pricey in the end obviously still a very generous offer from max for lads to use them anyway
  11. Isn’t that essentially the trip Gunter is offering you?
  12. Just commented this on the other topic but apparently there’s a con page on Facebook operating under a very similar name page, taking money off people and not sending locators. The real page has something about not taking orders until they’ve sorted a website
  13. Apparently there’s a con group on Facebook operating under a very similar page name to the real one. The real one has some kind of notice saying they’re currently not taking orders until they get a website sorted. Hope this helps
  14. I’ve only had one bitten myself but seen a few, normally anti histamines are enough but mine was put on a drip as a precaution, vets recommendation. I’ve known one dog die days later, sure it was kidney failure in the end. It’ll swell massively if it’s been bitten by an adder
  15. I knew a keeper who had a cocker x beddy whippet from an accidental mating she was a great little dog
  16. I’d rather something like this than a spaniel as a general little busher/mooching dog
  17. They both look big dogs for non peds when stood next to your bitch
  18. I doubt the government will amend the hunting with dogs act to include any of the mustelids you’ve mentioned anytime soon
  19. That’s a bonny looking dog mate, nice taxidermy on the wall also
