    Been without a bike for 22 years but the itch came back so I got looking. Ended up with this little beauty, 18 months old, 18 months warranty and way under half new price. Done a few hundred miles on it now and loving it. A right grandads bike that gives miles of smiles per gallon.

    Smashing job. Horses for courses, all I need is a gentle, easy to ride bike that I can pick up if I drop it, good on fuel and easy to maintain. It's a 2023 bike with modern touches but still needs feeler gauges for the tappets every 6000 miles. When the warranty is up I'll do it all myself. I rarely go on motorways even with the car so the Enfield will be a good tool for B roads and lanes where I live and wild camping on the Quantocks or Exmoor.

    Been thinking of another bike recently but didn't want anything too quick or heavy, didn't want to spend a bomb on insurance either so I started looking at Royal Enfields. Found this one, 1 year old, loads of extras, luggage and heated grips, 2 years warranty left and fsh. Pick up at the weekend!

    Haven't made bread for years but I thought I'd have another go. All by hand, no breadmaker. Got my neighbour in, cut it in 4 chunks, covered in butter and we ate the lot so I've started another one.

    I had another few days on Exmoor last week, on a site but very reasonable and at the time of year I appreciate toilets and hot showers. Doone valley campsite, quiet and loads of room. Some good rides on the ebike. Loads of pheasants, one of which ended up donating breasts for a stir fry. First wild mushrooms of the year too. Tentbox was great, I used the awning bit that fits over the back of the car too so I had cover to cook and keep the ebike.     Don't have too much of this problem down here but if I buy fuel I go and look at the staff before I fill up, same with shops. If they aren't white I go elsewhere. Never buy curries or kebabs, food can be good but I won't buy from perverts and terrorists. Avoid the stinking scum and starve them out.

    Go back 30, 40 or 50 years, we didn't have racism. We had humour which often worked against whites and we all laughed. Remember "love they neighbour"?
