I think that was the initial belief, but I get the impression Putin has gone rogue , doesn't involve oligarchs, then we were told he's using an inner circle made up of possibly more extreme views and USSR types. But then he's ridiculed them on national television, I honestly think he's running solo on decision making . I also think whomever does away with him and survives might have the keys to the kingdom , hopefully they're a friend to the west..

I knew what you meant , I was being slightly facetious, most guys like that will reinstate crew or recommend them to get them back . It will affect loads indirectly , whether a ruski working in lidls to financial services in the city. I think the west will pay in their own way for these sanctions or the common people at any rate. Hopefully it will be enough to stop further killings of a free sovereign people's within Europe...

Living next door to the world's poisoners I'd imagine most countries would want laboratories. Whether to test or track or develop I have no idea. As BH said if the Russians had proof they'd have used it, why were they waiting on borders waiting on deals and treaties etc, they've threatened the west with nuclear war, Russia's media is harping on about nuclear ps and how Ukrainians bombed it but russian troops saved the day by switching on generators....it's 'imho' a land grab with visions of the USSR .... He'll blame NATO, as he had to go in and murder thousands of people enjoying their young democracy. I honestly don't know what his moves will be, I hope he gets done in by his own, the missus' initial reaction was to 'nuke him' , hopefully I don't end up eating my reply lol. He needs to go , sooner rather than later. Will he go nuclear, if NATO go in he may do , I think whatever comes the nukes in Russia have to go , we can't repeat this scenario again so by his actions presumably NATO will expand . Can't see him being overthrown , but who knows...

Most are kids and conscripts, tales of primary school teachers, expected to go on a training exercise and then sent into battle, told they'd be greeted with a warm welcome as freedom fighters against Nazism , mental really. I do feel for the ruski youngsters stuck there , getting killed many absconding or surrendering , it's hard to get accurate numbers but saw one saying Ukraine said 11k russian troops dead and the guy said that won't be true it's more like 10k confirmed?. Anyway it's needless death on both sides by a seemingly illogical Putin....

I don't know, it's not like they're going into Russia , I don't think they'll be capturing many , Russia seems to have enough on just getting around, talk of the 'convoy' freezing to death before it gets going. Plus you'd have to be mad to surrender yourself to the Russians . They could give a few more days grace and then decide to wipe Kiev off the map who knows , this is either siege , failed invasion or air strikes to follow shortly....see what Ukraine air defense is about. Presumably they've received some anti air capability....

Think there's an enquiry, I'd be surprised if Boris over rode security advice but... Not shocked, they've obviously had far too much sway in the UK and UK has allowed too much dirty money and influence from Russia and China and Arab interest , this will hopefully be the beginning of a clean up and maybe an improvement in security, think China may have had years of work and influence wiped out by Russia actions, be interesting how their relationship changes. Europe NATO and allies will be increasing military spending and security .

Well it's an opportunity for some, more to find a cause and purpose than adventure maybe. I'm sure even delivering much needed goods to refugees will be enough and they're doing good in the world , can't fault them, and at least the Ukraine embassy is realistic in their requirements, and there'll be a few veterans that'll be welcomed to it....
