It makes sense really , if political position is aligned , but armies are more inclined to fight for their individual country unless next in line , so geographically and politically , not sure the poles would be interested though ..plus they've all got different languages and whatnot. Germany would be a serious threat stood alone ...

North sea was dropped as prices dropped. Government messed up shutting down gas storage in UK. I personally don't want to see shale gas, agree far too reliant on foreign fuel and other necessities, hopefully this amounts to Britain and the west distancing ourselves from russian and Chinese product . Germany is neck deep in Russian reliance , USA warned them against it. We need to speed up nuclear builds and green energy and the big petro companies should certainly have enough money after the last couple of years of harvesting....

Difference is these billionaires have had their assets frozen , unless it's proven in court they'll get it all back.... Think it's more about Putin and his circle, a very small group Hitler did what he did because nobody thought he'd do it and he mugged off weak leaders....but he was probably better organised than Putin tbf....

Hmm well quite possible but says a source? Then says over hundred dead, then says russian intel says 180 foreign fighters , I guess we won't know , mod says no serving soldiers....

Mine? I'm guessing they want to apply pressure to China to prevent assistance.... I also think China is unlikely to upset US, Russia will be pretty broke if not busted whatever the outcome of the Russian invasion of Ukraine...

Might be leverage for USA to increase exports to China or middle East and North Africa . As far as oil I think there's a fair bit about but it's held as reserves or under sanctions, North sea will be kick starting again I'd imagine...along with nuclear all over Europe....

Me and a mate took a bucket with thirty in , let them clean out overnight, then cooked and peeled almost had a sarny each lol.

I went out years back with a proper outfit, using nets , pretty sure it was strips of mackerel wired to the bottom of the net with something underneath to stop Cray from eating from underneath, the net was suspended from a long bamboo cane , if they set 50 nets ,it was time to bring the first one up by the time last one was set, 350? odd for a few hours of an evening out of a chalk stream...

It's been fluctuating wildly in the same day, whether news from Saudi or Russia/USA . Hopefully they'll release a load and drop the price....
