My lowas just had another dose of renapur... Probably had these about five years done a fair few miles , still water proof, tending to lather the cracks like window putty now though. A heavy durable boot, but going to treat myself to some danner pronghorns next winter, they won't last as long but lighter and more comfortable in a size 14/15.

I think they're a bit different. A popular breed, I heard they can be a bit vocal, have spine issues?...any way the vocal thing put me off. Heard a few stories of ratting and venturing off, pretty sure a pet one put a Charlie up for me the other week lol...

It's mental, but if that was here for £80k I'd snap it up , just seen a mid terraced , two bed ,50's décor , town house ,no parking, tiny garden for 280k and that's with being cheaper as over the border in Somerset lol.

All this dog importing of rescues, they've managed to create industries out of it. The amount of Romanian bait dogs , (normally geriatric golden retriever) beggars belief as said misplaced compassion, naivety, at worst supporting the whole cycle of itself. Although my dog has often been referred to as the lab cross or rescue lol..

As has been said, I think plenty of lurchers have enough nose to hunt up well. I've had a lurcher that hunted well and was damn fast , great to watch especially following a line in the hills or air scenting a bunny. Lacked prey drive and hell to live with. I've recently had to PTS my cocker patt , he started out well but never had a great interest in rabbit, loved woodcock and pheasant unfortunately gun-shy , occasionally had magic moments but mostly spent his time pissing shitting and fighting . All sounds reasonable to me Dido, not much value in fishing tackle unless it's top of the range carp gear or poles, box caught my eye I've my late dad's gear here, had a similar box that he modded to have shoulder straps and a padded seat it's older than me, I still haven't brought myself to look through it all or use it. Nice someone is making use of the chaps gear really?

I've always gone through floods and fords at medium speed and high revs. I've been lucky I guess, although I thought I was going to get stuck after following a tractor tanker through a flooded road and the bow wave came back at me. Kids shouting, all I could think was the 'told you so' from the missus and having to wade the kids out .That would've been a write off if I'd stalled.

That's what I've got and the tape and level and laser, drill , grinder , lol, it's good gear but of all of it I'd rate the tape at the bottom as it's got a slight twist in the first half a metre , might be my specific tape . Bought a unknown brand tape off a ground worker for £2 he bought a pack of 24 at £1.76 a pop lol, it's crap to read , I'll probably give it to someone I don't like. Lol. I have the tylons, I had binned one as it was couple of mill out and that can quickly knacker a job when a weld gap is 3mm.

I think they'll be here until the rabbit is gone. I think maybe whippet terriers might be more popular, but plenty still at rabbits...except me and the lab x lol
