I saw a couple pulled over on M5 picking apples, bit mad really. I remember being in a pub in New forest and a tree was dropping the odd apple, out of nowhere a sounder of about ten small pigs came in kids screaming parents running it was hilarious and in a minute they were gone again. Some orchards only pick the windfall for cider, most orchards are past being a commercial enterprise, I think thatchers just planted 13,000 apple trees. Good idea really to combine co2 capture , with food production . There was orchards in France that were basically pyo after the main harvest. A crab tree a few

Savage , the Sherman's were known as ronsons as in the fag lighter. Bitter reminder seems to have been forgotten by much of Europe and the American left..

Sorting couple of lure boxes and eagerly awaiting some spikey shad 50mm lures in the post , hopefully this rain eases off in the next week or two. Also got my eye on a nice hto rod or two on offer, as I tend to use my dropshot rod for everything or a rod that's too heavy for what I catch , and I mostly fish jigheads now.

They could set up an African battalion to fight the north Koreans, who'd have thought Koreans would be fighting in Ukraine, the world is certainly at a very strange point ATM, I think trump will be responsible for the west surviving or having a chance of surviving the Russian china war , can you imagine the french taking a Russian tanker if trump hadn't done it multiple times , or Europe setting up an artic defence force or the whole of Europe increasing defence spending if it wasn't for trump... And I think we all know who trump was referring to when he slated NATO and it wasn't the Brits , s

On a few places I've seen the rogue pheasant that chases people surring them etc, never got why keepers have them about, amusement maybe , personally I'd just knock them on the head. -
Yep I have to be more aware these days the levels have a slippery step down to where you want to fish a lot of the time and sometimes a foot of bank before you'd be upto your neck in it. Lol, always aware if I can't work I'm knackered. Canal is easy on that front rivers are a different beast..
