I use Strelok Pro which is ideal for getting the right zero distance for the cartridge/load I'm using and to have a rough idea of small hold over values beyond MPBR, but I don't take silly long range shots with game anymore, just take a bigger gun next time out if I need to shoot further.

I bore sighted mine at 30 yards to start with, then zeroed at 50 yards then 100 yards, needed a few clicks at 100 to be spot on. Ideally they want to be around 130 yard zero with a 17HMR though to get the flattest trajectory with a 1" KZ. But I think the cartridge is flat enough shooting at 100 yards for any of my uses.

Hello Guys, Gals and my lesser mentioned but never forgotten Fair Child Republic A10 Thunder Bolt II's. I'm new to the forum, I shoot Rabbits on a few permissions using .177 Air Rifle, .22LR and .17HMR Recently moved into the world of FAC shooting and thought I'd look for other forums as the one I have frequented previously was heavily air gun-centric.
