    well i agree with you totally dev and to the lads that are saying the dog doesnt look as if it has seen much a lotof lakelands have hairy faces when they get badly marked the hair grows back so if the dog had seen a lot how the hell could you see you would only see if it had been dug in the last month if it had worked look at the hair on its muzzle how on earth could you tell its not a short coated dog that a scratch from a cat would leaves a noticeable mark i wonder if half the lads hav any experince of working terriers at all on here long hair hides marks very quickly and easily

    its not the fact of people biting its the fact its supposed to be a hunting site where people can post about various topics etc but you get people trying to noise people up so the rest of there gang can get a laugh when people bite. its pretty sad really and thats why this site has really gone down hill and is full of messers jmho

    ive seen it a few times normally the dog hasnt found the quarry straight away so has dived down another hole i would say it would be quite common especialy in big places

    personally i like my dogs to hav a little weight about them not too heavy tho if my bitch gets a sore time she wont eat for a couple of days she needs that body fat to live on you never no what is round the corner it could be a 24 hour dig and your dog has to get its energy source from somewhere a lad i go out with has his dogs very lean to lean for my likeing he says mine are to heavy its each to their own

    pip i was reading the terrier year books and the guy that actually breed smithy dridkison or something like that had sent a letter in saying that the breeding was from a bitch jet mated to a dog grip he was saying that all the other rummours were rubbish and that was how he was bred i no nuttal put a claim to breeding the dog and ken gould quashed everything that was ever suggested how he may hav been bred was just wondering what you thought on it
