GDay new to the forum wanting to get into falconry, anyone around Tameside give me a shout, want to pick brains and buy you a beer ?

Looking at getting first hawk does anyone fly around Stalybridge, Glossop area I can pick the brains of? I know everyone says get a HH first up but honestly I prefer a sparrowhawk as there is more quarry on land permissions and I feel if I get a HH it is just a stop gap till I get the bird I really want and am not sure if this is fair.

Newbie looking into getting into ferreting anyone around South Manchester want to hook up give me a shout.
