Thanks for the reply trev! I have the older versions to so you've answered my question. Might just stick with what I have this season and treat myself to an enforcer at a later date. Cheers bud.
Hi all, don't suppose anyone would know if a lightforce reflector would screw on to a tracer handle?? I have a 170 striker and 240 blitz non variable. My plan was to buy a tracer 140 variable and swap the bulb and reflectors over?? Any thoughts. Cheers

Browsing through the forum I see so many topics on lamps etc, so thought I'd put this little survey up, which may help others on buying a lamp and maybe a filter, Obviously picking out the most popular to the most least popular. If there's any other products you think I should add to the list let me know. YIS.
I went out last night with the dog and even though it was a still night I managed to bag 19 rabbits out of about 25 runs. The dog was on fire, really did me proud. Some of the runs were amazing and he retrieved them all live to hand. Cant wait until conditions are right so I can get out again.
Now this was a made up story, but how many posts do you see like this without the evidence to back it up? I personally think owners should let there dogs speak words for them, as all we know anybody can talk the talk! I mean my dogs not amazing I go out catch a few rabbits with him and Im happy. B
Joeball, that is a really nice whippet simler to my mates its called slate if you've ever heared of it? He says the same thing as you about wieght and about it being how they carry it. He also like you says a dog needs a bit of fat on them to keep the heat in on cold nights and days. bigger is better I always thought
A whippet off mike is bred for purpose there not the skinny type you see, the fire guard type I like to call them. Mb dogs are Great for lamping to, my mates are really good anyway. Why dont you take a look on the working whippet forum alot work his dogs on there I think.
After reading this I got a bit worried about mine, so I contacted a friend who uses lithium in his model airplanes and also installs them with house alarms. He told me they have no memory effect, and should have a self discharge on them. So if not used for year they probably will be flat but a good charge will see them right as rain again. Had no trouble with mine anyway and Ive used it 2 seasons.
