THE GREATEST The ultimate boxer in my opinion, he had the speed of a lightweight plus could also stand and mix with some truelly big hitters like frazier and foreman. He was the best around when the heavyweight division was a hot bed for great fighters. Also great for the sport of boxing created interest in the sport and was a inspiration to many kids even to this day. A great Sportsman as well as been The Greatest Boxer were ever likely to see Looked down the page and saw the Roy Jones Jnr clips. His reflexes were truelly amazing and as well as fast hands had the power to end fights with

Saluki crosses are far from thick, they can be a little pig headed and can deaf out now and again, but they definitly aren't thick. It was a common thing for the 'old' school lurcher men to say, "what you want a saluki cross for ?? They're brain dead", but as you have already pointed out, they dont respond to heavy handed training, and people dont think about this. You be heavy handed with a saluki cross and you can forget about getting a decent level of obedience from one. Patience is the only way, i know it's hard when they might be blanking you, but persivere and things will pay of in the

Not sticking up for anyone here but Skinnyrat you seem to be trying to cause an argument here !!!! Where in the thread has the bloke said "all his dogs are 1st class", he says they made decent dogs ???? Because i cant see it !!!!!!! The bloke explained pretty clearly at the start of his thread that he was just walking his dogs when they ran a couple of rabbits. I get the feeling that he was pleased that they showed an interest to chase more than anything. Obviously if this happened on a regular basis then it would sicken his dog, but i think he knows that himself. Come on Skinnyrat save yo

Well had a walk out with the fella that now owns the terrier and he was a nice steady dog, we just had 4 terriers out this morning and he was sound with the other dogs and was busy investigating the high cover. Only got a few pics because of my camera struggles with taking pictures of moving objects, pretty fecking useless really :11: Well here's the dog And with my mates other terrier Look foward to seeing how he goes next season All the best Tommy

Why should we bring our fen dogs and run them on your terms Andy ??? These saluki bred fen dogs are bred soley to run daytime hares just as your minshaw dogs are bred for lamp. Personally if one of my dogs ran like a wally on the lamp i couldn't give a toss as they are daytime running dogs, just as you say your dogs haven't been used as daytime dogs and i suppose a poor performance in the day wouldn't bother you if they lamped well !! You'll never hear me knocking anybody for lamping hares, it's personally not my cup of tea (i like the big long courses) but couldn't give two fucks if anyone

"All together now" !! :11: :11: :11: We had an old wrinkle who taught us, so we got all the classics "He's got the whole world in his hands", "Kum by ahh my lord" and all the church hyms . After our 'Great' intro to singing we would have weekly recorder lessons if we were good , using the same recorder that some dirty twat who never cleaned his teeth had used the day before  God knows how from this foundation is music i went on to do a degree in music All the best Tommy

4x5 Bench Press means you do 4 sets of 5 reps. So do a set of 5 reps have a breather and then do another 3 sets having a short break after each set. I would recomend doing a warm up set first of maybe 15-20 reps as jumping straight onto a weight that you can only do 5 reps with would lead to an injury. As well as your protein supplement i would say get some tins of tuna. Great source of protein as well as been easy to prepare. I drain away the fluid and eat the tuna dry, tastes shit but does the job. Also make sure you have a protein shake before you go to bed and when waking in the morning

My personal best has been 6 out of 6 and that was in North Lincs in January. Got some stick from the lads they said i was strutting about like a Fighting cock A good friend did 7 from 7 in a day with a old dog of his some years back. He ran 5 while on the land and then spotted the other two from the road when driving back. The dog was a real plodder and he said the last run was like watching something in slow motion. If i remeber correct i say a piece in an old EDRD about a dogs called 'Scouser' that had supposed to have caught 9 in hares in a day ??? Maybe one of you fella's know some mo

It's probably just a type of embrocation spray/rub used buy most greyhound trainers. One of the most used is Alco Ectolin, used simply to warm and loosen up a dogs muscles. All the best Tommy

Well if your wanting to add mass then you'll need get your protein intake up and start doing some mass building exercises. As someone as already said the best mass building exercises are probably as follows: - Chest = Bench Press - Back = Dead lift - Shoulders = Standing bar or seated dumbell press - Biceps = alternate dumbell curl - Triceps = straight bar press down or close grip bench press - Legs = Squat I would suggest you gave it a month or so of light-medium weight training before starting to increase the weight and lower the reps. This will give you a good foundation to buil

Ageed that Saluki x Greyhounds might not be your ideal choice for a retrieving dog but personally all the saluki crosses i've had and worked with have all been decent retrieving dogs. My dogs are saluki lurcher so the retrieving and general obiedience could be said to be from lurcher blood, but my good friend has a 3/4 saluki 1/4 greyhound, which retrieves 100% both fur and feather. Also a dog i had for a while of the same breeding (3/4 Saluki 1/4 Greyhound) picked up the retrieving game pretty quick. He was 4 years old and wouldn't jump or retrieve but after a summer of steady training he b

Have heard the same thing myself Socks !! Usually at shows !! A good friend of mine was always into his coursing and once at a show he met some lads selling a dog that had 'spewed' on fox as a GREAT rabbit dog. When asked about the dog it was found out the dog had never been ferretting, never been rabbit lamping but had caught a few dropped rabbits. These idiots seemed to that Rabbits were the lowest of the low and that any lurcher could catch rabbits !! I've been out and seen some decent coursing dogs made to look real fools behind a 'EASY' !!! Rabbit. These lads think as you say that De

Think Hatton would fare better against Mayweater than he would Del La Hoya. Brock like you say lets se what Hattons next fight brings !! All the best Tommy
-
Have seen the last few rounds !!! Del la Hoya is one of the Modern Boxing greats, never dodged anyone and has a real good record. We knew before the fight that Mayorga could be knocked out as Trinidad KO'd him, but it was a big test for Del La Hoya coming after his loss to Hopkins. There saying he will fight Mayweather next !!! Well in my opinion if Mayweather fights Hatton or Del La Hoya then he wont be a undefeated fighter for long !!!! All the best Tommy

Good little video clip that !! They should make c**t BLAIR watch that over and over again All the best Tommy
