Had a walk out with the lamp last night with gingerbob of here. We took his 11 month old Bull/Greyhound x Saluki/Greyhound and my Saluki lurcher bitch. The plan was to give the pup a watch at a few runs and maybe a run if a close slip wa available. The weather wasn't great with little wind (only in gusts) and i think every star in the sky was out, but we went on anyway and i managed 8 runs with my bitch of which she caught 5 and he let his pup have 3 runs, he missed his first 2 really unlucky not to connect but picked up his 3rd and brought it back with a good steady retrieve Hopefully the

A keeper friend of my old fella's has some Springer Spaniel x Fell terrier pups for sale. Both the parents are good workers and even though the mating was an accident they should prove to be good cover working dogs. I dont have any pics yet but know they are all docked and black and white in marking. There are 2 dogs and 1 bitch. Any enquiries pm me All the best Tommy

Got a quick glimpse of this program on BBC 1 this morning and there was a feature on Poaching (lamping etc). It showed the (West Yorkshire-i think ) Police pulling over cars that they suspected were lamping and poaching deer etc etc. They were looking for 4x4 type cars especially ones that looked like they had been off road (muddy ), and were then pulling these cars over. The bloke they pulled over had dogs, lamp and something that baffled the police officers .......... a slip lead One officer said it could have been a weapon..........probably make a better weapon than a slip lead :11:

Not 100% sure mate. He's my mates dog and as he didn't buy him as a pup he's not sure of his true breeding. I would say the dog is about 20-21 inch and for working the hedgerows etc is a real handy little dog, marks sound as well All the best Tommy

Had a morning out ferreting with my mate, who is also a member of this site (gingerbob). The land we were ferreting doesn't hold many rabbits but the warrens that are on the land are mostly in dyke sides, and with the cover still been high this was a bit tricky to net. Gingerbob took his dogs (two terriers and his small whippet type lurcher) and they worked well marking sets, which were them proved to be ocupied by the ferrets. We only ferreted 5 warrens which gave us 6 good healthy rabbits. We did pick up a mixied one that was sat out on the way back to the van, might be why the numbers a

Some real replies on here Calzaghe in my opinion is a great fighter, he can stand and trade, box to a great standard and has proved this over and over again. People will always say he's never fought anybody now if anyone watched the programme about him in the week you get a better understanding. The big name oposition simply hasn't been around for him. He came at a time when the two names that have been mentioned for him to fight were at different weights to him i.e Hopkins (Middleweight and wasn't willing to move up to fight, calzaghe would have struggled to move down ) and Jones (light

Lampinlass you did better than most, i've been with some lads that froze at the first sign of bother.
