  1. great looking bird mate, she looks slim for that weight she mst be a tall bird, i got a male at the minute whos greedy as hell and will still chase with a full crop, will hunt at 1,9 and he is a small bird drop him to 1,6 ad he will drop on a feckin horse! bet you cant wait to get her huntin
  2. the other upside is the bird makin a bit of noise took the heat off of my two rotties that everyone in the street has sent a letter to the council about barkin! mines the only garage in the street not broken into though!
  3. hi mate, dont matter what anyone tells you there is no such thing as a totally quiet harris, if manned well and trained they love huntin and whenever it sees you it wants to go huntin! i took mine well early 8 weeks only cos if i didnt someone else was gonna and he is a great bird, tottally silent in the field but if i walk past his aviary or whenever he sees me he wants to be out, never been fed in the aviary and although took early not imprinted as was left alone till 12 weeksand fed bliind through a trap in the cage. if your lookin for a silent bird look for somthin else or move next to
  4. wy is eberyone these days so distrusting and suspicious! this poor girl so obviously needs help and im sure if we could all find it in our hearts to hep her in this prediciment she has so innocently found hersef in! we could have a right laff spending her money!! plus half of her close relatitives have already taken up home in hull, i am sure i could get the dogs to budge up a bit in the kennels and find her somwhere to stay until the chq clears!

  9. good thread! been seeing a new girl for a few weeks all goin well untill she turned up at mine early one afternoon to find a dozen phesants hanging by the neck from the washing line, 4 conies gutted on the kitchen top and the lovley cute harris hawk she iked so much up to his neck in the 5th rabbit! sorry end to somthin that could have been so special!!! lol

Hi there. welcome to the wild north, i got permissions on a couple of farms and the golf course which i run in the beverley area. mainly shoot and fly hawks over it at the minute. your welcome to come and ferret and give the dogs a run sometime if you want. some guys put some birds down at one of the places so out for the time being, but the golf course is perfect for lamping.   14. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS KNOW OF ANYONE WHO LOST A FEMALE HARRIS IN THE HULL AREA I SPOTTED ONE OVER THE LAST 2 DAYS! TRIED TO BRING HER DOWN TODAY WITH MY MALE BUT SHE WOULDNT BUDGE. SHES AN OLD BIRD BELLED AND JESSED UP NLOOKING FAT SO SHE BEEN HUNTED AND LOOKS LIKE SHE S DOIN OK BUT A LITTLE NERVOUS. ANYONE WITH ANY INFO POST AN I CAN LET YOU KNOW WHERE SHE IS.
  15. hi guys, jonny here just found the site and looks great, hunt in the east yorkshie area with airgun, ferret and most recently aquired a male harris which i am having problem entering has had a couple of mice and will smash a dragged rabbit, but will sit on the glove and watch one munch away on grass 20 yards away. any advice much appreciated!
