Oh Jimmy mate.... I want one of them!.... I wouldn't have a Daystate as you know. I told the gun bloke as I call him, you sell it to me mate. How can it be straighter than perfectly straight. And if its got a battery I don't want it. Especially not from more than a flippin grand... The new Revere is finished like an industrial pump... Yet this Kral, its walnut, easy to regulate, already high powered, good looking high capacity... But people keep warning me off of them, other than the people that own them! How do you find it mate? Groups well?
-
Jimmy....... Is that a Kral Jumbo? In the middle?
-
Blimey I was missing all the comments sorry everyone.

Outdoor snooker anyone?... They'll object to anything Nimbies. Could be anything, Hospital shooting range hospice, much need housing for locals.... Nah.... Not in my back yard.

I can't get over the plastic trigger mate. My finger will be repelled... All the shooting I've seen with it must be the new one. I dont wanna pay that much for a new one. Rather save up for a Pard or..... Err... Something else.. I've got my eye on another high mag scope and a Rowen Trigger for my Air Arms.
-
I don't think it'll go tits up mate. I'm your case obviously dont remove the silencer. Lol.. A solid Reg Tench or Huma is unlikely to give issues from my extensive research... But obviously it's still gonna be a great gun. You got a pard?
-
Dear All, Having seen some of the groups shot out of RM8s, am I to overlook the plastic trigger? Get a wooden one and crack on... Or what else can I get for the same price. I'll never get me springers down this quiet and I don't wanna scratch my S510 doh....theyve got me. . Jimmy won't be pleased... Mind you I'm having fun What dya reckon everyone.?

My Baikal 0.177 forget the model, but it's got a period sh-te 4x20 scope on it, it was actually a full power Rifle, gawd knows what it's like now as it went to live in the French Country side. I won a junior a standing competition with the gun. As I recall. The original open sights were so off they seemed to over hang the breach, however with a scope. It was a laser. I used to lie on the drive and shoot down the length of the garden at the left over Xmas Walnuts. Chalk and all sorts of things back from 60 odd yards. The blokes at the Rifle club used to laugh, until they saw m

That's good news. As there are the very occasional problems with their regs. Mine for instance! Just decide if you want a Huma or a Tench regulator fitted. Then either fit it yourself of get one of the people who advocate those products...... I'm my experience, the silencer is very quiet, but I found tighter groups with a stripper fitted, as I only shoot targets with mine. Some 3mm smaller indoors. Mine had a very specific problem yours won't have for obvious really. Trigger is too thin, I'll fix that next. Some people will tell you not to bother with regs as the

Well, I was thinking about getting a 410 as well... the air arms guy was very enthusiastic about his own product. But when I spoke to the RFD he told me that my gun was one of two they sold very recently, and both have been returned. I had to really take a leap to buy an Air Arms I'm really struggling with the money vs quality argument at the moment. The BSA quality control also being dreadful in my own experience if you can't put the barrel shims in a simple Springer how you gonna cope with a regd multishot Pcp... I think FX guns look dreadful, not a fan of the giant bottle, reminding m

Punching Paper.. I just can't stop
JakeFury replied to JakeFury's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I don't bother with all that I just tape the target to the end of the barrel. At least with the springers I get some exercise... Might have know you lot would denigrate my self worship hahahaha -
Did you buy the regulated version?
-
It's gone back. When I got it on the range for an extended period over the Chrono, it was NOT consistent after all. I did manage a 1p sized group but it was 9.8 to 11. 5... Really bad. It would make single hole groups and then hit much higher or lower power than the 10.4 Ave and ruin the group. Really disappointed, but the warranty will take care of it.

I just tried shooting the HW40 at some spinners in the back garden what with this wind and my St Vitus Dance I didn't get a look in

This is terrible, the Squirrels better watch out.. Five through the same

Thanks mate! They've told me to get it back to em. I'm going to shoot a load over it soon as I've got a few days off shooting and some ranges booked. Will record the strings off every pellet through the reg as it goes down in pressure. It's a nice gun mate. Accurate, I don't care what club anyone is a member off. My Springers ate bang on and I take ages over preload and re springing re sealing until its consistent, so I know what 11.5 With AA 8.4 feels like.. It punches through the cable real ply in the back garden and it flies dead flat and takes little wind at all in close 9.9 is

I'm quite surprised by this tbh. The gun is incredibly accurate, and very consistent, with a selection of my pre weighed collection (too much time on my hands) the deviation was tiny.... but it's only 10.3 ftlbs shooting the other day in Wind, it was taking noticeably more wind that my 97 shooting at 11.5ftlb with the same pellets. People have said to turn it up? It's regulated. Can I safely turn it up and rechrony it with a wide selection as I do my spring guns? Or should I call AA to see what they suggest. It's the slowest of all my airguns tbh. With no sound or

The S510R Ultimate Sporter arriveth
JakeFury replied to JakeFury's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I have to admit I feel a destinct sense of guilt. I've always exalted the virtues of the Springer, and I do enjoy messing about with them. I've made a few really good ones out of average guns. My 97 came with the wrong spring and guide from Hull, for some reason, so I found out.. So just putting the right bits in it from the start made such a difference. I had some cheap ones that got really good, with some fettling. They all got so much fun so much more accurate. But then I just had this destinct feeling I was loosing out. Hopefully the dive bottle in the corner of the room -
