    As far as i remember it... i stripped it down and gave it a little polish up and dropped a vmach tuning kit in then it went over the limit. I sent the sping off to davyt63 and he shortened it for me and did a terrific job polishing the ends. It had a top hat and guide rod thingy that fitted really good so it shouldnt be twangy. I was going to reblue it myslef but couldnt be bothered hence the vinyl carbon wrap ?? shoots bang on tho i loved that rifle kinda wishing i didnt give it away now ??? Been to the range a few times with my pro sport tho and its growing on me. Cracking rifle

    Yes mate very nice rifle. We were skeptical how the ultra se could be improved upon but... its just better !!! Haha. Lovely rifle. Nice to shoot and really quiet too with a hw silencer id say its quieter than my hw110

    Duno you just do .. ?? Chronoed mine and its only just over 10 ft lb no wonder i counted 90+ shots when they say 72 ??? it will do for close range hunting and target shooting

    177. seems to shoot quite nice only had a few shots at the farm last night to get the scope somewhere near. But its chucking it down this morning so going to the range get it zeroed in. Got a hawke Airmax 30 compact sf 4-16x44 on it same as whats on my hw110 seems a nice combo. See how i get on at range today

    Got our lass an upgrade traded her .177 ultra se tactical in for the new ultra clx but in .22 the other day. Took it to the range got it all set up. Counted 95 shots and it was still going seemingly no power drop off still had 70+ bar in. Need to do a full chrono string at some point. Anyway its deffo a worthwhile upgrade. Shame its only a beech stock a walnut would have been nice. Printing the usual 1 hole jagged groups at 38 yards with the jsb jumbos.     Nope its a .177 , Heard springers in general are harsher in .177 than .22 . It shoots 'ok' but ive shot springer that are a lot smoother

    Tx , hw97 / 77 and lgu all very similar cant go wrong with any of them. Cant beat a good springer ?

    Took our lass' hw99s out tonight try to get a its first kill.. she came with me but i was shooting. Shes not good enough yet to hunt with a springer.. pigeon was about 35 yards i went for the chest shot, dropped like a stone out of the tree. Then the rabbit was 32 yards.. We sat outside the warren, against a wall... Had to wait about 15 mins for it to come out. I have seen rabbits in this corner of the field multiple times and bagged one last night so i thought another to add to the stew pot tomorow would be great.. anyway out it came and it stopped so i took the shot kneeling and knocked

    Took the hw95 i bought of lifelong cumbrian other day for its first hunt.. Few pellets in the pouch. Knife and torch in the pocket. Locked up and walked 5 mins to my local farm permission as its getting dark. Too dark to see the crows in the trees, too much leaf cover at min... Had a little mooch into the field.. few rabbits running about.. one stopped at about 25 30 yards. Standing unsupported. Thought well why not.. need to get the first kill with my new rifle.. took the shot an boom it just fell over. No rangefinders or owt just basic instinct and experience took over ?

    Best springer ? Few come near.. but none beat a 97k for me ?

    Im interested in the hw95 i could come and collect over the weekend. Is it tuned by sandwell ? Will it come with a bag ? My hw99s was un-tuned just brand new form HW factory and it was a bit rough inside

    Im in halifax / bradford. Suppose i could come collect but its like a 5 hour drive all in ? does it shoot bang on? Anything wrong with it ? I had a hw95k years ago and it was a cracking gun got a hw99s other week but its not right nice to shoot lol. Those sandwell tuned rifles are meant to be bang on tho arent they
