    My missus was on one of the last flights into the old airport and on one of the first flights out of the new airport. She said one thing she wouldn’t miss is that approach and landing at the old airport ! Cheers.

    Don’t know mate . My missus got her eyebrows, eyeliner and lip lines tattooed one day in Pattaya when her and her pal were supposed to be shopping, I couldn’t believe it ! No way would I trust them with anything like that back in the 80’s, hygiene wasn’t the top priority back then ! Cheers.

    Egypt is a shithole. Fine if you are desperate to see the pyramids and the sphinx or a dhow trip down the Nile, but be prepared to be ripped off, pestered by beggars or get dysentery! My daughter in laws family have property in Saudi, Egypt, Dubai and Turkey; I can go for a visit to any of them, my preferences , in order, would be Dubai, Saudi, Turkey and Egypt a distant fourth .     Funny you should mention that ! Two of my neighbours ave just had gutters, drainpipes, soffits and facials done. one squad done it all from ladders, the other had full on scaffolding done on the same houses. The scaffold squad used cordless tools, the other lads used hand tools. I asked the neighbours what it cost, under the pretext of having my house done; the ladder lads were about a grand cheaper ! Cheers.

    Howe hasn’t lost the players, and possibly just as important, the supporters. The owners aren’t stupid, if they sack Howe now, they risk losing both and any new manager coming in would be in a difficult position. If we lose the next three games, Liverpool, Sunderland and Aston Villa, the crowd could turn on Howe and that would give the owners the excuse to go for Morinhio who appears to be waiting in the wings.     Retired at 51 twenty years ago. Came home from abroad and got a couple of allotments and some hens, ducks and quail. Spend a lot of my time out with the dogs or at the allotments. Why on earth work till your an old man and to old to enjoy what’s left of your life ? Cheers.

    I think I mentioned this before; I was going hunting in Victoria and I asked the lads what I should bring. They said just bring a slab of beer. I said Fosters ? They weren’t to happy.
