    Reform

Zia Yusaf isn’t the Chairman of Reform mate, I assume it’s him you mean. He resigned in June. The chairman is now David Bull. Cheers.

    Reform

There was a Labour councillor on tv last night saying if we were still in the EU we could use the Dublin Agreement. The interviewer was ready for him; official figures showed 400 returned to the EU…… over 1,000 sent from the EU to here. Cheers.

    Reform

The Welsh by-election this week should be interesting, Reform are ahead in the polls and Labour are in third place. I shall follow the result with my usual nerdish enthusiasm! Cheers.

    Reform

“Same people, same outcome”. As I said, I’m not happy with the intake of defecting Tory’s, but I can see the practicality of it, in them having experience of the Parliamentry Estate and procedures., “Needs must” and that sort of thing. I think it’s naive to think voters would demand their preferred party, MP, Councillor to listen to them. There are places in the North East that would still vote Labour even if Labour made it a manifesto commitment to murder their first borns, because of the “ me da and granda voted Labour so will I” mentality! In my opinion, there simply isn’t an

    Reform

With all due respect Wilf; that’s not an alternative. That’s throwing the towel in and accepting the status quo. Reform may turn out to be as bad as the rest, ( I fervently hope not), but we will never know unless we give them a go. Would they surrender to the Chinese and allow spies to act with impunity, as Labour appears to have done ? Would they be the abject disaster that the Tory’s were for 14 years ? Rhetorical questions we won’t be able to answer unless Reform is given a go. As I say, if someone offers me a viable alternative, I’d certainly consider it Ch

    Reform

“Drifting left” ? Give over Wilf Ending Indefinite Leave to remain, retrospectively, internment camps and immediate removal for illegal immigrants, will have the real left in paroxysms of confected anger ! About the only “left” suggestion they are making is removing the two child benefit cap, in the hope it will encourage us to have more children and be less dependent on immigration. Id of thought you would see through the establishments attempt to , in the Tory’s case, label Reform as “left wing” and Labours attempts to label Reform as “far right” ? They can’t be both
  7. Labour never wanted this inquiry for the simple reason that Labour MP’s, Labour Councillors, Labour Police and crime Commissioners and left wing police chiefs were complicit in the cover ups and scared stiff of being labelled “racist” if they told the truth about the grooming gangs…….. Cheers.
  8. There’s a lot of extremely talented players who excel at the “floor” level but can’t make the adjustment to stepping up to the stage, televised level. When my missus was about to play her first televised semi final, the BDO took her and her opponent on stage and explained about the camera movements and the echo from the mikes behind the board etc. She needed a couple of vodka and cokes before playing, which wouldn’t be allowed now, of course Cheers.
  9. Did a little digging myself yesterday, but it pales into insignificance compared to that excavation But it’s a bit of practice for when I come over there Cheers.
  10. Littler won the World Grand Prix of Darts last night , playing some of the best darts ever seen and demolishing the World number one six sets to one. He said he was entering the World Youth Championship today to show support for the competition and players, probably at the request of the organisers, the PDC to boost coverage. I doubt he was taking it very seriously, but that said, the girl that beat him is far and away the best woman player in the world. My missus was world ranked in women’s darts back in the 80’s and since then I’ve never seen a woman player get farther than t
  11. When I had my yearly M.O.T. this year, they included a hearing test. Like you, they said my high pitch hearing had deteriorated slightly, they said it’s common as you get older and I may have a problem hearing high pitched women’s voices . I said I considered that a bonus, not a problem…….. Cheers.
  12. Put 6 purple sprouting broccoli in a crate lined with a dumpy bag half filled with compost. A bit late in the season, but they are well established and under glass, so fingers crossed Cheers.
  13. I fly the England flag outside of the Man Cave to show I’m in residence, much like the king flys the Royal Standard above Buckingham Palace when he is in residence Cheers.
  14. Starmer was asked today how digital ID would stop illegal immigration, his reply was “ IT WILL ALSO GIVE YOU ACCESS TO YOUR OWN MONEY”. Thats a direct quote !! Scary…. Cheers.
  15. A few ingredients from the allotment today to go in a beef stew; Finally got my over winter cabbages in; Copper tape collars, beer traps and slug pellets, that should hopefully keep the slugs at bay And netted to keep the flying pests out ; Cheers.
  16. Thing is my pal starts my plants off indoors with heat mats and lamps and when I get the plug plants they are well established and I grow them on in poly tunnels. Cheers.
  17. Maybe reparations could be linked to repatriation? You get reparations, you go back to your ancestral homeland and renounce any affiliation with the UK ? Cheers.
  18. I was visiting my pals Polish dad one time and my missus asked why there was garlic on every windowsill, “to keep out the vampires of course ! “ he replied . My pal lives in Pampanga, he should fit right in Cheers.
  19. I was going to say I’m a magnanimous type of person, but that would have Juke reaching for the spellcheck ! Just a bit of right wing humour, Jukes Cheers.
  20. “Asking” ; another typo ? Cheers.
  21. Someone who spells “tell “ as “tel” maybe shouldn’t be having a go at someone else’s spelling ……? Cheers.
  22. Wasn’t it something to do with rubbing a silver or copper coin on a wart and giving the coin to someone ? Cheers.
