  1. And David Lammy refused FIVE TIMES to answer if he knew anything about it when asked at PMQ’s today, even though he had been fully briefed the night before. Cheers.

    BBC....

I’d say people have always realised that the BBC has a left wing bias, but this is overt political interference by lies and manipulation. Cheers.

    BBC....

Expecting Trump to hit back hard. Cheers.
  4. Boris can’t be trusted. He had no views on Net Zero until his wife bullied him into supporting it . Same with his great pal Zac Goldsmith, another Net Zero fanatic , who Boris Ennobled and put in the House of Lords. Boris was never a “real “ Brexiteer , and had two newspaper columns waiting to be published after the referendum, one supporting Brexit and one against it. His father is probably the greatest Sinophile in the UK and won’t have a word said against China. I’ve only voted Tory once in my life, 2019, for two reason’s , to keep Corbyn out and because Boris promised to gi
  5. My reply was a rhetorical reply to what I assumed was a rhetorical question ; my humble apologies Cheers.
  6. Legal immigrants apply for a visa, present their documents and qualifications and are given a visa if applicable. Those that get a visa think they have won life’s lottery. Ilegal immigrants don’t apply for a visa, have no qualifications and destroy their documents before getting here. They don’t get deported even if it’s found they shouldn’t be here, they get treated better than some of the indigenous population and will never work or want again. They have truly won life’s lottery . All courtesy of a government led by a human rights lawyer. And the previous Tory government was n
  7. I can see Mackems point. I’ve also been in some 3rd world countries, but 3rd world shit holes always have been and always will be 3rd world shitholes , whereas the UK is/was a 1st world country but it’s not the same country now as the one I left in the 70’s. Ive been back over 20 years and I can see the degradation getting worse every year. The demographics have changed drastically, crime has soared, the general “feel” of the place doesn’t seem right, the optics appear as if the illegal immigrants have more rights and are better treated than the indigenous people, this may or may not
  8. Newcastle WERE shite ! Worst performance of the Howe era I have witnessed. For once our midfield was abysmal, Bruno and Joelinton terrible. In hindsight, allways a good thing, Barnes should have started ahead of Gordon, who was terrible. When Bothman scores an own goal, you know you’re in trouble. Tonali tried his best but was ploughing a lone furrow. Well done the Hammers, they wanted it more. We will probably hammer Athletico Bilbao on Wednesday at home . Such is our inconsistency. Cheers.
  9. If people are terrified, then it’s terrorism…..seems pretty simple to me . Cheers.
  10. Where did I say I support driverless trains ? I thought my post inferred the complete opposite.? Still, let’s not let the truth get in your way of wanting an argument. Anyway , I’m off out to hopefully see Newcastle beat Wilfs West Ham Cheers.
  11. I haven’t been on a train since 1978. It’s cheaper to fly to London from Newcastle than to get a train. As for being a Luddite, I yearn for the days when I could buy a dog, ferret, chicken out of the Exchange and Mart and have it put in the guards carriage of a train and I could pick it up from the Station. I love looking back through rose tinted glasses…… Cheers.
  12. That illegal with the AK47 tattoo on his face has been posting his “pop, pop, pop”, tik tok videos from his prison cell. The prison authorities say they cannot find his “phone. Well, solitary confinement, no food or water until he tells where it is is my suggestion. GITMO and Abu Ghuraib seems the only way forward with these people, but can you imagine the left wing screams if it happened ? Cheers.
  13. Yes, passengers did call 999 but the driver probably has a pre planned procedure for emergencies. Someone did pull the emergency cord but the driver didnt immediately stop the train, he went on to be rerouted into a station where emergency services were already waiting. These are just things being reported, we will, I hope get far more information as things unfold. Cheers.
  14. Evidently the train driver was alerted by passengers, and radioed ahead to have the train rerouted to the station it stopped at. What would have happened if it had been one of the driverless trains that the unions are so against ? Cheers.
  15. He’s never ambiguous or ambivalent Cheers.
  16. The “Fear Wave Effect “ of this incident has already kicked in. LNER has told Newcastle fans who were going to travel by train to London for the West Ham game , not to travel as the trains are likely to be cancelled, delayed or diverted. This means that 1,000’s more people will be travelling by road, which will lead to more road traffic accidents. An incident like this has far reaching effects. Starmer has to come out and make a major statement, not just saying how he thanks the emergency services and how he feels for the victims. Cheers.
  17. She was 17; the age of consent in that state is 18, so she was under age . Andrew knew her age as he evidently commented she was not much older than his own daughters. If it is proven he had sex with her, then he’s a paedophile. He hasn’t been found guilty of anything, but his own brother appears to find him guilty going by the drastic, ( by royal standards), punishment he’s meted out . Cheers.
  18. I put my post code in and find I live in a very nice area, if the data is to be believed; scores very well on income, education and lack of crime. BUT, I wonder how accurate the data is ? No one round here is going to be mugged for their Rolex, whereas places like Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Other high wealth areas of London are very high on the crime list, but I wouldn’t class those areas as “ deprived”. As Mark Twain said; “ there are lies, damned lies and statistics “ ! Cheers.
  19. To be fair, and I’m certainly no royalist, but Anne refused any titles for her kids, even though, as grandchildren of the queen, they could have been Prince and Princess. They still benefited from being part of the royal family and enjoyed privileges that “ normal commoners” never could. I agree with you, if we are to have a monarchy, it should be drastically slimmed down, such as only those in direct line of accession , such as William and George should be titled and on the public payroll. Just my opinion, and I’m sure it’s far more complicated than that Cheers.
  20. They’ve said he is to be given a house on the Sandringham Estate paid for by the King. He will still be richer, more privileged and pampered than most of us could dream of. Cheers.
  21. Yeah, Diwali, Hanukkah, Eid, Hallowe’en…….. when I was a kid it was just Bonny night you heard fireworks. Isn’t multiculturalism great ? Cheers.
  22. Bonfire night is slightly more popular round here. The kids have been round the allotments collecting wood. Can hear fireworks just starting. Cheers.
  23. Few not very good pics of some young Chu Shamo just coming out of the moult; Cheers.
  24. I think the difference might be hanted means a racing bird could be let loose in France and find its way back to the loft, whereas settled or homed bird such as a high flyer, tumbler, etc doesn’t stray far from its loft. Just my take on it. By the way, I’ve heard women, many years ago refer to their husbands being hanted to a certain pub or working mens club, such as , “that buggers hanted to that bloody pub !” Cheers.
