Labour want a 99 year lease, Mauritius only wants to give 45 years. Cheers.
-
Before Labour give it to Mauritius and pay billions to rent it back……. Cheers.

Ferretman has just added a lot of pics to my WhatsApp group; very nice ! Cheers.
-
I’ve seen the video mate, and Ferretman had just told me he taught you all you know ! LOL ! The worlds getting smaller by the minute ! Cheers.
-
It’s all coming clear now mate ! Clinton is on my WhatsApp group ! LOL ! Cheers.
-
What a small world ! Clinton is a pal of mine. He was here a while ago dropping off some venison and got me some pheasant feeder springs and barrels! He should have been here with the rest of the lads a week or so ago, we meet up in my man cave and put the world to rights but he was working away. Hopefully he will be home for that show. Cheers,

Was it Clinton ? Cheers.

I’ll have the Air Ambulance on stand - by mate …….. LOL ! Cheers.

I was in Ireland some years back, I took a deer x and a beddy x with me, county Offaly. Im hoping to get to the North to see some Irish pals next season. Cheers.

Horsely, just west of Newcastle on the A69. Just a little hunt show, but attracts a decent amount of dogs. Cheers.

I attended only three shows last year, local hunt shows. My bitch, which I can assure you is well worked , was runner up at all them, and every time was beaten by its half sister, that I can guarantee has never done a days work in its life; But that doesn’t bother me in the least; I don’t care what people do with their dogs, be it working, showing, racing, whatever, that’s their business, as long as the dogs are well fed, well kennelled etc. As for breeding rubbish, there’s plenty who’ve never been to a show but breed from untested, scatter bred dogs. The simple answer is

I was the judge and gave it “Champion Lurcher” , based solely on looks, condition, conformation and temperament. Its impossible to judge on working ability unless you have personally seen the dog working. Lurcher Shows are just a bit of fun, support your local hunt, meeting up with mates, seeing dogs and having a craic in the summer. Anyone who doesn’t like them isn’t forced to attend ! LOL ! Cheers.
-
You have me at a disadvantage, mate, as I’ve never seen that dog work, but you have , so I can only respect your opinion. Cheers.
-
I don’t believe two seasons of work is enough to prove a dogs capabilities, but everyone has their own opinions . Cheers.
-
Are you Justin Biebers dad ? LOL ! Cheers.
-
She’s in season now ! But I’ll not be having her mated, she’s just three years old. Cheers.

This one was from Ireland; sired by the non-ped whippet/greyhound Memphis Belle, out of a deerhound bitch; Cheers.
-
Who ? Cheers.
-
Yeah, I’d fancy a non/ped whippet x deer/grey sometime . Cheers.

Like most others, there’s good and bad. They are very easy going and easy to live with. Of course there will be better rabbiting dogs, hare dogs, fox dogs, deer dogs, but I’ve found deer/greys can do all that to an acceptable degree without being the absolute best. They are also pleasing to the eye. In looks and style of running. They almost invariably breed true to type, so you’ll have a good idea of what you’re getting. They can be very slow to mature, but I’ve had some that were doing their job at 12 months. You pay your money and take your chances ! Cheers.
-
I’m certainly not an expert on deer/greys, or any other type for that matter; I’m just an enthusiast of all working dogs. Cheers.

Is that a genuine “ Buck” knife ? I bought one in America but unfortunately it was in one of my shipment home boxes that went walkabout. Great knives, hold an edge well. Cheers.
-
Have you tried “Metrinch “ sockets ? I was gifted a set one Xmas by my daughters Canadian boyfriend. They grip the flats of a nut or bolt , not the points. They can get you out of trouble with worn fasteners. Cheers.

I agree, but if you turned up at a Jet Propulsion Lab with Halford tools, you wouldn’t be allowed in ! If a tool failed and ingressed a jet engine it would cost a fortune to sort out. Something as simple as a wrenches chrome plating coming adrift and getting into an engine could have catastrophic consequences ! My tools such as micrometers, vernier gauges, torque wrenches, had to go to the calibration lab to be checked on a regular basis. But as I said, the cheaper alternatives are ok for DIY jobs. Cheers.

I’ve been retired over 20 years , but I still have all my old tools, Proto, Blue Point, Stahwille , etc. but I still pick up what I call “ consumables “ from the likes of Lidl. Cheers.
