This non ped whippet is 12lb , yes, TWELVE POUNDS ! It’s got greyhound not far back in its breeding. Its a dog, not a bitch, and there were other dogs in the litter over 40lb. Once you start mixing breeds you never know for sure what you’ll get. Cheers .

No bull in the originals, I’m sure, but plenty added bull later. I saw a Minshaws x bull blue bitch, it was stunning. People called them Minshaws long after the Minshaws blood had been well diluted with other blood. Cheers.
-
I don’t think there was any bull in them. I’ve seen the Minshaws pedigrees that Andy posted and it looks like collie/grey with a bit of whippet, deerhound and maybe Bedlington, but I’m sure someone will be along to disagree ! LOL ! Cheers.

The only GENUINE Minshaws I’ve seen were Jack and Moscow, they were old then, but still big, strong dogs. Cheers.

Dogs change over time, use, conditions, etc. Master McGrath was 53lb; Now Irish coursing greyhounds go over 100lb. Cheers.

I remember talking to a top deer lad one time and he asked how many deer I get; I said I’m lucky if I get into double figures, he said that’s not bad for a week ; I said that’s for a season ! LOL ! Im very realistic about my dogs capabilities and for years I kept a game book, very nice to look back on . Cheers.

There’s usually a horse or two around my dogs, so they soon learn to keep their distance. Cheers.

Does anyone find some dogs seem naturally adverse to domestic stock and some can never be trusted ? Many years ago I had a deerhound type called Brin, he was a good dog on the roe. We were out one day and a calf ran out of hedge and Brin ran at it, got near and stopped and came back. He hadn’t been broken to cows but seemed to know instinctively. This bitch I’ve got now is completely indifferent to my poultry at the allotment but takes feather when I’m out working her. I try my best to break all my dogs to stock, but when I’m on invited land and there’s sheep about I’m on my gua

Breaking his dogs to deer ? What a load of guff ! This is so when his competition comes off and Tomo’s little whippet type is mullering the deer, mC can say “ but I told you my dogs are broken to deer “ ! LOL ! He’s not as daft is he looks, is my young protege! Cheers.

How much would you charge him, mate ? Cheers.

They made good money in the “dwarf throwing” pubs, but once again the do-gooders had it stopped without asking the dwarves opinions ! Cheers.
