I get huge bags of soil conditioner from my local council depot. It’s garden and parks waste that is heated to a high degree and is completely sterile. It has no nutritional value, but when added to raised beds, it make the soil more friable and promotes vigorous root growth . I love this site ! Where else could you start talking about Londonon coursing and end up talking about friable loam ? LOL ! Cheers.

Did Farage “milk” any more or less than all the other troughers in the EU ? Did he get more than “commissioners” like Mandelson, Patten, the Kinnocks and their sons wife ? In my mind, he did the job I wanted him to do in the EU and eventually got us out, unlike others who would have liked to stay in and keep “milking” it until they died. Hate him…. Hate the rest of them, it’s only fair ! LOL ! Cheers.

Evidently an American military supply tanker loaded with AvGas. Travelling at about 16 knots, (20 mph) and hit the container ship, sitting at anchor, amidships. 30 seriously injured up to now. The conspiracy theorists will be going into overdrive! Cheers.

He probably has told him, but Lowe wants it to go public and be announced as official policy. I don’t know who’s right or wrong, but Farage is the boss and there’s a thing called “collective responsibility “. If Lowe couldn’t accept it, he should have resigned , not done a two page spread in the Mail, an overtly anti Reform newspaper. Jenrick ? He reminds me of Groucho Marx; “ I have principles, but if you don’t like them, I have others” ! LOL ! He had 14 years to do what he now espouses, and did nothing ! Cheers.

It doesn’t mean that Farage disagrees with Lowe, it’s politics, not a discussion in the pub. Get into power THEN. start deportations. Reform is polling around 25-28% depending on the poll, they need around 35% for an outright majority to form a government. Anything less would mean a hung parliament and a coalition between Reform and the Tories, or a coalition between Labour and the Lib Dems, and that’s no good for the country. Farage is playing the long game, there’s still 4 1/2 years to go. Cheers.

I picked my wife’s cousin up from the airport yesterday, he’s a Reform UK member and of course we discussed the ongoing situation. He said there are many policy differences between Lowe and the rest of the hierarchy, but the tipping point is that Lowe wanted Farage to state publicly that Reform would start mass, forced deportations of millions of immigrants and to make it official policy. Farage and the rest of the leadership thought this would lead to a drop in the polls and memberships, and it would look far right , even Fascist to many voters. Lowe then went public , attackin

Yes mate, there’s an excellent one across the river but I’m the allotments treasurer and I’ve joined us up to the Budget Seeds allotment scheme. They are on line and are very cheap for anything you need for allotments and gardening and we have a discount code. Once you get a few growing seasons under your belt you get more or less self sufficient in plants, compost, etc. I know plenty of farmers and horse people so cow slurry, horse manure is free, a pal is a tree surgeon and he drops of loads of bark chippings for free. Having an allotment should be a pleasure, not a cost ! LOL

My deer/grey bitch doesn’t step on any of the raised beds and completely ignores the poultry even though she takes pheasants. Just the way they are raised, I guess. Cheers.

Beautiful day here so had a walk with the dogs then to the allotment and planted 140 onion sets. Forecast to go cold again next week though. Cheers.
