No moving goal posts for me, mate. I’ve got a great memory, I remember all the invites, challenges, etc. Ive never refused an invite apart from when the shithouse from the Borders kept inviting me ! To use my pals saying, “I would rather drink petrol and piss on a fire than to have anything to do with him” ! If someone doesn’t want to accept an invite or challenge, they should just say”no thanks”, not obsfucate, back pedal, change the rules, move the goalposts, etc. It just makes them look foolish! My invite to you was to come up to my local track and have a timed run, or a race against a non-ped whippet , or a race against Max’s lurcher, because you said your dogs were faster than a non-ped. Max has accepted an invitation to run both his dogs in the “mChull Cup”. Two different things…don’t be moving the goalposts ! LOL ! Cheers.

Gunter, you said your hounds are bred from Welsh Hounds; some of the hunts up here still run Welsh and hairy hounds; This one with the Morpeth Hunt. Not sure which Hunts these are from, they were at a Hound Show in Northumberland; This one was with the Brae’s ‘o Derwent; I won Moochers Photo Competition with this photo some years ago; Cheers.

Thread seems to have died, so a few old pics, most have seen them, but the newer lads may not have; A saluki blooded lurcher I had back in the early 70’s; A Bedouin saluki I had in the 80’s in the Middle East; Saluki pups at Hamed Ghunaims kennels in Abu Dhabi; That little girl in both pics would have been almost 50 now …..how time flies. Got to be the most pussy whipped man ever ! He had everything, he was respected for his military service, he was a “lads lad”, getting pissed up, playing strip pool, wearing a Nazi uniform to a party, his charity for wounded servicemen. Then he married her and it all turned to shit! His grandad Philip warned him, his brother warned him , but he went ahead and become a Californian, woke, wimp ! Looks like he’s wanting a way back , but he’s finished. Cheers.

I get around three seasons from the poly tunnel’s then just buy a new cover. I got two 2x3 metre poly tunnels from Amazon for a total of £100. I got a new cover for another one for £40. Well worth it if you grow a lot of tomatoes, chillis, sweet peppers, cucumbers, etc. Cheers. -

Not quite ! I’m still out lamping and , dare I say it, daywalking. I won’t hold you lads back too much when I come over in the winter, but I’ll happily leave the digging to you ! LOL ! Just renewed my passport to take up an invitation to the Middle East for some big game fishing and running a few desert hares with Salukis. So still a bit life left in the old dog yet ! LOL ! Ah, but what do you consider a “grew” to be ? Theres one man , whose name I can’t allow myself to mention, insists it’s just Scottish shorthand for “Greyhound”. Myself, I consider it to be the term for a first cross whippet/greyhound, which I do not consider to be the same as a non-ped whippet cross greyhound, which will, invariably, have slightly more than 50% of either breeds in its heritage….but, of course, I may just be being pedantic, or far more unlikely , wrong ! LOL ! Cheers.

His long game isn’t what it was, but he’s still probably in the top four or five with it. His break building , positioning and safety play is up with the very best. Its his first tournament after 5 months off, so he’s bound to be a bit rusty so it’ll be hard work to win it, but there’s still the fear factor other players have when playing him, so I wouldnt write him off yet. Cheers.
