  1. It’s worth contacting them and making sure they have the right contact information. That’s how I found out I had won £100. Cheers.
  2. You’ll thank me when you’re older ! LOL ! Cheers.
  3. The complete and utter lack of punctuation in both Bangers and mC’s posts makes reading them akin to deciphering the most complex of codes ! But I feel they are both good lads at heart ! LOL ! Cheers.
  4. I’ve had £15 worth for 45 years. Had one result ; £100. Ive got two friends who put £30,000 each into Premium Bonds for a year and then withdrew them, they reckon the winnings were 50% more than the interest they would have got if they had put the money in the bank ! Cheers.
  5. Crude oil, mate; That took some cleaning ! Cheers.
  6. Maltby was closed for a while but I think is back on now. Cheers.
  7. But you said there IS a cure for cancer but “they” are keeping it secret. So, I’ll ask again; Are the millions of people around the world in on the conspiracy, or are they just duped ? Also, are charities like McMillans, Marie Curies, Cancer Research and all the others in on the conspiracy? Cheers.
  8. Francie, do you think the millions of people around the world working on finding a cure for cancer are in on the conspiracy or just dupes ! Cheers.
  9. C’mon mate ! I was going to write a considered reply, but I can’t believe anyone would be stupid enough to paint a cruise missile in American Airlines livery and let photos be taken in the hope of fooling people ! Lok at the size of it compared to the ground handler and the transporter ! It would never be recognised on radar as a commercial aircraft ! Complete nonsense . Cheers.
  10. Yes mate. I’m a great believer in air safety and have probably more air miles under my belt than most, but even I am starting to look more closely at the amount of recent air disasters. I’ll still err on the side of coincidence than conspiracy until convinced otherwise. Cheets.
  11. Covid conspiracies are so yesterday Francie mate ! Aircraft crashes are the new go to conspiracies ! LOL ! Cheers.
  12. I hope the “Statute of Limitations “ has passed, but many years ago Sunderland Greyhound track had a whippet time trial open with bookies in attendance. Anyhow, my pal had a decent black 20” whippet called Silly Rocket and I had a good scratch racing 24” whippet called Pot Black. The Rocket was put in the time trial and was given a mark of scratch. Then Pot Black was swapped for the actual race and walked it ! I think it was priced at 7/2 and we put everything we had on it, collected our winnings and made the break back north as fast as the old Viva van would go ! Beating the
  13. Just checked, it’s still going, I’m pleasantly supprised, but as you can see, it’s over 50 years since I raced there . Cheers.
  14. The whippet bend opens we’re held at those tracks aswell, so it affects whippet racing as well as greyhound racing. Cheers.
  15. There were lots of flapping tracks in this area years ago. An entry into my diary from 1972; Pelaw Grange and Stanley Greyhound tracks; Cheers.
  16. I actually did live next door to his grandad, Archie ! LOL ! Cheers.
  17. Yes, Sunderland dogs still operates, but I rarely travel south of the river these days; Sunderland Greyhounds WWW.SUNDERLAND-GREYHOUNDS.CO.UK Sunderland Greyhounds is a busy greyhound stadium which races 4 times a week, as well as hosting events and... If Katchy and his son want a night at the dogs, Brough Park is just a few miles from me. Cheers.
  18. I think there was one eye on Wednesday night, mate. My neighbour John Anderson, ex player, was commentating on BBC Newcastle and he was brutally honest; Fulham were the better team, simple as that. Cheers.
  19. I think Brough Park in Newcastle is the only one left mate. Camois was only a training track and had the odd whippet open last time I was there, but I think it’s now closed down. If you want to go to Brough Park, and it’s still going, PM me and I’ll have a night there with you and the lad . Cheers.
  20. Not one of mine, a friend I had out for a run some years back. Cheers.
  21. Of course a bull cross can catch a hare; but that doesn’t necessarily make it a “hare dog”. Cheers.
  22. If you don’t want Greyhound Racing to go the way of coursing, please sign this petition; Petition: Introduce a Statutory Levy on Bookmakers to Fund Greyhound Welfare PETITION.PARLIAMENT.UK We call on the UK Government to introduce a statutory levy on bookmakers to secure reliable funding... I was talking to people who have started this petition and it seems that they are worried about the UK Labour Government following the Wales Labour Government in trying to ban greyhound racing on “animal welfare” issues. This petition is for Bookma
  23. That was Stirling, Scotland. Back then it was heaving with rabbits. Cheers.
  24. As is regularly said on “The Army Rumour” site; “Never let the truth get in the way of a good rumour” ! LOL ! Who knows what caused the collision ? I’ll just wait and see and decide if it seems true. Cheers.
  25. My pal and I bought this bitch off the Pikies on Newcastle Town Moor, mid 70’s. They said it was a “staghound” but it was probably deer/grey. One of the best dogs I’ve ever seen , and the only one I’ve seen personally that took 100 rabbits on the lamp. Cheers.
