Being in the company of Messers Biden, Sunak and Starmer, even without alcohol, wouldn’t just dull my senses, it would make me consider self harming ! I’d have a better conversation with the local paraffin, sharing a park bench and a bottle of Thunderbird ( can you still get Thunderbird ?). Cheers.

Just my opinion, but it may be what Man U had but have now lost; the “fear factor”. Any team going up against Real Madrid may have a psychological disadvantage and not play with the confidence they would against other teams. As I say, just my opinion. At least my grandson will be happy, he called me to try and convince his mother to let him stay up to watch the game even though it’s a school day tomorrow, he will go to bed happy ! Cheers.

When the choice in the US is between bonkers, (Trump), and senile, (Biden) I use the “pint test”. Who would I rather have a pint with, and it’s 100% Trump ! In the UK if the choice is between bonkers, (Farage), deluded, (Sunak) , or opportunist liar, (Starmer), then it would obviously be Farage ! Hardly a scientific way to pick a leader, but sadly, looking at the choices we have, I can’t think of a better way !!!! Cheers.

No, Japan was one of the few countries our airline didn’t fly to. My missus and her pals used to fly to Seoul on the red eye and do a days shopping and fly back on the return flight. We had hubs in Thailand and Philippines so it was around that area of south east Asia I used to frequent mostly. To be honest, I’ve never fancied Japan, don’t know why, might add it to the bucket list. Cheers.

Every Democrat and left wing commentator that I’ve heard being interviewed has said “ this shows no one is above the law” and “the law applies to everyone”. Well , Trump is awaiting trial in Florida for having classified documents at his home. Biden had classified documents piled up in his garage at his home…. But no charges have been brought ! “ all equal under the law” eh ? Cheers.

Evidently he can only pardon himself with Federal offences , not State offences . This trial was brought by New York prosecutors not Federal prosecutors. Nixon, Clinton, Biden have never been charged and taken to court, seems a bit political to me, wether he did the crimes or not. Cheers.

I was obviously disappointed at yesterday’s result as it means Newcastle will not be playing European football next season, but to be honest, I’d say it’s fairer for a team that has actually won a trophy to qualify for Europe, that a team that finished seventh in the league and needed someone else to lose, to qualify for Europe ! Man U played probably better yesterday than they have all season and Man City probably played worse than they have all season, but that’s the magic of the Cup ! Worked running dogs with gun dogs; even had the odd gun dog in my kennel, but none of the gun dogs belonged to me. Maybe I should have been more precise in my post; I’ve never had the experience of owning and working gun dogs and running dogs, but I have had some limited experience of it . Cheers.

No experience of it, but last year a pal of mine bred a litter of genuine working GSP’s and kept two back until eight month old then decided which one he was keeping and offered to gift me the other one. I agonised over taking it, but decided not to. I’m a running dog man and probably couldn’t give it the type of training and work it deserved, but I still wonder if I made the wrong decision. Cheers
