Who said you should pack in ? I’ll take a hare or roe any time of the year if I want one for the pot. What I meant is there’s a close season for shooting but as it’s against the law to run them with a dog, we have no close season. Dont make everything about you, there are others who run hares you know ! LOL !

Just checked, close season for shooting hares is 1st February to end of September. Of course there is no close season for some dog lads ! LOL ! Cheers.

Let’s not confuse LEGAL immigration with ILLEGAL immigration. Legal immigrants have applied for and been given a visa, we know who they are and where they come from. They usually have a job to come to. The fact that, in my opinion, the bar is set far to low is down to our government, the rules should be stricter. Illegal immigrants enter the country illegally and usually without any papers so we don’t know who they are or where they are from. We will, sadly , always have home grown wrong ‘uns, but my personal opinion is that I would rather deport every asylum seeker than see one more child stabbed, blown up or run over by someone who shouldn’t be here. Just the opinion of someone who has lost not one, but two children. Cheers.

Islam DOESN’T fit in with our Western culture. Muslims, not all but certainly a majority, from North Africa, The Middle East, the Indian Sub-Continent, etc , have a completely different mindset to us. No, not the same logic, mate. If I bought a book and didn’t agree with it or enjoyed reading it, I could bin it or throw it on the bonfire at the allotment. I could even offer it to someone on here who might enjoy it . I wouldn’t go out into the street and set fire to it. I’m not a fan of burning books….didn’t the Nazi’s do that ? Ive read the Bible, the Quran, Mien Kampf, The Communist Manifesto, and many other “contentious” books and I’d rather read them and make my own mind up than have someone burning books and telling me what I can or can’t read. What if the anti’s and Greens started burning hunting books ? Cheers.

I think most people who don’t know the difference between ped and non- ped whippets in terms of speed ! When I was handicapping we had peds getting 21 yards, (the limit), start from non-peds and couldn’t win a heat over 150 yards. This is why most clubs now have separate handicaps for peds. Don’t get me wrong, I love and have had both types. The non-peds are incredibly faster but if I was going to use a whippet for coursing or lamping rabbits, I’d say the ped has more stamina and doesn’t “blow up” as quickly, but that, of course, is just my opinion.
