  1. Canny selection there R1 ...no Cloughie,Ford or Gurney up front tho or on the bench I would drop Shackleton on to the left midfield.
  2. Nothing to complicated about using the MK3.Put locator on search, find ferret & switch to locate, hey presto ferret depth found.Turn the pin pointer down...no more noise & use the lights.Only thing i find is the depth can be a bit off,i normally take 6" of the reading.I have also used the MK1 & they both do the job.
  3. Don't think the Geneva convention is high on the Taliban's agenda there mate......quite happy to behead, hang people without a care.I don't condone what they've supposedly done but who knows what effect war has on people unless your there having to face with the brutallity of it.
  4. My tip all be it a bit late, would have been to read up,have a good search around on this forum & whoever gave you them to give you basic welfare advice before you took the ferrets on.However they are straight forward to look after....clean,dry,warm,secure housing, fresh water, fresh flesh diet & plenty of handling & treat them with the respect they deserve.
  5. A landfill site will have noxious gasses running around it.I used to work for a pump company &we'd supply the gear for them to pump out the lechate pits. This lechate acid is naughty stuff, it dissolved the normal mild steel pump heads & the only metal that could stand up to it for a little longer was stainless steel. Don,t know if the rabbits would or could tolerate the smell of the gasses this stuff gives off...if they have perhaps they have some form of blood/flesh poisoning.I can remember nearly :bad: on several occasions when we had to go to pick these pumps up from the active l
  6. It'll be looking that way mate...but i'll keep it all the same...it ain't eating any meat
  7. Ow then Mr TP :thumbs:5hr's of graft, diff, gearbox & engine oil, coolant change, air & fuel filter....£250 lighter in the pocket. The Japmobile still needs rear pads, discs & ABS ring sensor ...f g Subaru's  £250 you could have bought my vitara best 4x4 ever made :toast: It ain't got a turbo mate,so when the plod's after me for flinging me bull crosses out of it when i'm after the red'uns i need the speed to get away....hardcore
  8. i was hoping he would need to go for a crap then not give him my bog roll for letting that rabbit go Im up at woodga first week in march all being well,if i have time i will drop in on you if thats ok? Yes no probs mate, give me a shout when your up in god's country
  9. I sort of agree with you Matty...personally i ain't gaining much with the .17 but i ain't put the effort in with it.But the calibre is a decent little round when conditions are good...putting in for .204 in a few weeks time for a bit more "range"
  10. Cany result Mr TP...BB did'nt use all your s t roll today then??
  11. Ow then Mr TP :thumbs:5hr's of graft,diff,gearbox & engine oil,coolant change,air & fuel filter....£250 lighter in the pocket.The Japmobile still needs rear pads,discs & ABS ring sensor ...f g Subaru's
  12. And they are measley  i've seen it with me own eyes
  13. Could have done with you there again really Andy, sure second time round and a few purse nets your jills would have done the trick! No the daft collies was not barking at all, but we did have an audience from the houses all the time we were doing it! Hope to get over to see you soon mate. Deffo mate, get something sorted out not long left now...never got out today...full service carried out on the Forester today...5hr's of oil & general cursing
  14. Both calibre's have great attributes,i enjoy shooting both.I mainly use the .17 for a bit of a play about when the conditions are decent. No way have i used this calibre to is maximum capability however i'm happy with headshots which i always go for up to 135yd(my best to date). But i can take headshots upto 80yds or so with the .22 majority of the time so i'm not really fussed with either gun. As said by JK it depends on the land you have as both calibre's can do a job on keeping the rabbits in check
  15. Nice one B,looks familiar that set  that dog still barking along there!!Keep at them mate
  16. I would never get rid of my .22LR for a .17HMR.Both guns are well used in the summer but for lamping out of the jeep the .22 get's 99% of the work
  17. HMR a point & shoot calibre??What zero do you use then.....because i must be doing something wrong :hmm:with my 50 yd zero & holdunder to around a 100yds
  18. Decent bag there B All the best for the New Year you fancing a dodge over the "eastside" anytime soon??
  19. is that code for,by lad that will take some bunnies this season,by the way she,s beautifull, wish i had one,can i touch it please, I that stock will make all the difference it would look better on a Annie tho
  20. Looks like that'll be stuck in the cabinet now  ...did you get the free polishing cloth & borecam with that railway sleeper
  21. When you do pass be prepared for a eye opener.Idiot car drivers, pedestrians, stress, gaffers shouting & balling at you.My main advice apart from don't do it is don't work for a family run company, they'll work you to death for sh*t money & expect you to work all the hours they do. Get a start with an agency if possible then you'll get a good idea of what job within this godforsaken industry suits you....as you can tell i really love it
  22. Have'nt got tinnitus from shooting but have it from 30 years of heavy metal abuse...Hail Iron Maiden!!!
  23. the genius who has won no major trophys!!!!!!!!!!! he will be good for you, but dont expect anything other than regular top half finishes Quite happily take that instead of looking over the shoulder every season....as said SAFC's season starts tomorrow.
  24. Glad we've finally got O'Neill. My target for this season, stay mid table(12-14)comfortably & not get beat at The Sports Direct.com Superstore  .If he can do any better than that it'll be a decent season considering we've been in relagation form since last October.
  25. i just had a quiet chuckle at this,I always used to say Summat south of the river Good read that Del,them lot dinnit tark reet ower the otha side of the watter, marra
