I'm not tryin to start trouble but by the time that you got a lab based lurcher any good on our deer there would be about 1/32nd lab in it. Maybe different in other parts of the states but where I live, you best have a dog that can run cuz you aint gonna catch a damn thing without it. I assume its that way everywhere though. I've not run your deer but I recon a good racey 3/4 grey 1/4 lab would be fatser than most purebred deerhounds, the lurcher still might note catch but would stand a better chance of getting contact. There are a few that run deer, in the past of cause, and none used
