    OK.........so I had some computer troubles lately and now I cannot view what I believe to be called embedded videos like the ones that sandymere put up. Can somebody tell me why that is again. I know this happened before to either me or somebody I know but dont remember what was said.

    I honestly have no idea what is bred into these dogs and I doubt many people actually know. I rarely if ever have a dog that gets hurt. They just seem to hold up and I've never had a slipped pad nor a foot injury on my coyote dogs except for a broken toe and thats cuz the bitch werent in shape and had pups the next week. Yes the coyotes get away. I honestly did not think I would catch that one there. A long dump coupled by a very fast enduring coyote that never looked back. If it werent for the blue gyp that coyote would have ran off cuz the yella gyp was about done

    I understand what you are saying, Andy, but I wasn't realy refering to First crosses, more to what you did to produce Don, for example. That is putting a "pure" back into a Lurcher line every now and again. Some like Dan and Whin are dead set against it, while others do it. Cheers. If it works I'm all for it but I seriously doubt if a dog that was half saluki, greyhound, or deerhound could make it at my house. The saluki would run the other way, the greyhound would fall apart and the deerhound from what I've seen wouldnt ever get there so the answer has to be no for me.

    Chart, I honestly believe that if I were to breed greyhound, deerhound, or saluki into any of my dogs that I own right now I would be taking a huge step backwards for what I do. Nobody will be able to convince me otherwise until they show me and I dont see that happening anywhere in the near future.

Both her parents come from dogs that can run for days. The yella gyp is much faster but she dont have the bottom that the blue gyp shows. I wish the blue gyp would throat like the yella one does but oh well you cant have it all.

    Tell that to the guys that have been breeding coursing dogs and bullcross dogs for 25 to 30 years without ever going back to "pure".

    What would you use for daytime coursing? If I was serious I would get jackrabbit dogs or import a dog from a guy or two I know. Me personally though I would just run my shiteaters on them and watch them fail miserably and not really give a flyin f**k.

    I dont know much about any of this but I would never think of breeding to either a greyhound nor a saluki unless I had no other choice...................I dont see that every happening though so not worried.

    They will work out just fine for ya. Got a whole lot of outstanding dogs behind them. I really dont know where you'd go to find any better on either side back in there a ways.

    I'm a greedy c**t. I want all the pups that would have been out of the litter tween them two. I'd dump em on one of them "BIG coyotes" and put money on em takin him off his feet. By the way, good taste stunt.........couldnt have picked any better myself.

    In my experience they dont "sing" like folks theorize. Not tryin to be argumentative but I dont think I've ever seen it.

    I grew up with dogs bred like this and they were some of the roughest dogs I've ever seen.
