  1. I mentioned age only cuz I said how far we going back to find one that actually worked. That was the only reason I mentioned that. I never said that if they were about I'd have seen one I just wondered why everybody acts as if they are so secretive that only the chosen few can find them. That's a bit of bullshit cuz in all reality the bulldog world is about as "secretive" as you are gonna get unless you are talkin bout thugs and gang banger culls....I think yall call em chavs. Either way I can find a good bulldog and I'm not even in that circle to be honest but I just have never seen nor h
  2. That genuinely made me laugh and aint it the truth, Ive had wheaton xs and still have pure bred wheatons and 1 thing they aint is shy of teeth Do you really believe I was tellin anybody the what's for? I asked a question about them. I eventually got somewhat of an answer and said that if this was true then I am impressed and would like to hunt with one. So if either one of you would like to tell me how its "aint it the truth" that would be f****n grand! Wind your neck in fella just having the craic I don't really have much of a neck so trust me its fully wound in. H

  4. So obvious yet nobody ever gets it. Always gotta be some kinda bullshit cross or a whippet cuz for some reason folks actually believe a whippet can outrun a greyhound in "short races". If that were the truth they wouldn't have height and weight restrictions on whippet racing they would just let the fastest dog win which nobody seems to want to do except on the oval track. It'd have to be a damn short race for any type of whippet to beat a real greyhound.

  6. I'd like to see some better pictures of this dog once you get him in shape. You suck at camera angles by the way. HAHA!
  7. Add to the mix well they are gamer and there willingness to work .but I have seen some bad ones too but you get that in every cross I your idea and my idea of gameness will probably differ considerably ...gameness was the main trait in useing wheaton blood with adding a better coat than from bull blood but my point is very very few of wheaton blood are from tested wheaton blood most wheatens can be traced bk to working stock if you look the right places you get a good un Do you honestly believe the first part of your statement about most wheatens being traced to "work
  8. is that right Not if you cant find out for sure exactly what they were and not unless you know for a fact that the same group of men are still breeding the original stock. who said they werent If that is the case then I am impressed and would love to go out hunting with some dogs like that.

  10. Define most and how far back do we have to trace cuz I'm only 37 years old and quite sure anything over 30 years ago prolly aint worth tracing back to.

  12. Finally a new subject on thl. Never seen a beddyxwhippet thread on here before.
  13. That's what I do right there. I rinse wound with water and then take and squirt 7% in it. Case closed. And NO I don't mean case closed as in that's the only way to do it. I mean I'm done with it and I don't worry about it anymore. Just thought I'd clarify so you lil butt hurt faggots don't get all emotional as usual.

  15. That's all I was trying to say. Just don't overuse it and its fine. Like I said I don't use it. I just squirt 7% iodine on whatever is the matter and call it a day. My dogs never get infections and I never use antibiotics either.
  16. That chit made me laugh. I aint never seen a cat that could dish it out unless the dog that was on it was a straight up counterfeit. I had this yella cur gyp years back that would hit em so hard all you would see was a puff of fur and she weren't much more than 40 pounds. Seriously, they are a rabbit with claws. Hydrogen peroxide is the best bet along with iodine. Yes peroxide if "overused" causes it to heal slower but still it will heal. 2 or 3 cleanings with it and you are mint. That being said I never use it. I squirt a lil iodine on whatever and call it a day.
  17. Yall must have some rough ass cats over there cuz I aint never seen one be tough enough to ever get a bit in on a damn dog. I don't mess with them on purpose but of course I've had my dogs come across them and its a disaster within seconds. Sick fuckers make me wanna puke at times when they have caught a cat. They come apart awful easy. Sorry men but a 90# dog shaking a rabbit with claws is not much of a fight. And the sumbitches always smell like cat piss to boot. I hate when a dog catches a damn cat.
  18. back to a lurcher you would loose to much pace as pups will only be half crosses as it is, if they worked out could be a very good base line for breeding off,, does any 1 have any pics of this type of cross. You are incorrect sir.
  19. I really like these kind of dogs but in my opinion you should use one of yalls lurcher types and not a greyhound. Im not talkin bout some first cross collie but Im talkin bout one of the lurchers that can catch yalls deer and or hares and be lamped on fox and kill them regularly.
  20. You cant tell with any breed of any animal that we as humans have bred. If the race horse industry aint figured it out then it pretty much aint possible.
  21. I like that post alot. Id only change the last part and that is that wise men acquire good dogs or pups and fools think they can breed. I love breeding dogs and I get lucky as hell every now and then but I aint dumb enough to believe that I got a clue as to whats gonna happen cuz it dont work that way. The first part of your post was really good though.
  22. Ya they are fertile and you can damn near tell when you catch one thats got some dog in it cuz they usually have some unique color or something about them. Might not be much dog but you can just tell. I aint caught many like that though.
  23. They are not defending themselves at all. The dog is treed on a bear tree and the wolves just come in and rip them to pieces. Hardly self defense.
  24. No I dont live in wolf country and Im glad of it. The trouble is big trouble. Its called dead dogs.
