Well she’ll be a year on the 26th, broke her leg at 12 weeks and never looked back, levelled out at 24tt-ish and filling out nicely, happy with that. ????

Was out with dogs earlier and saw geese in the field, this one caught my attention as it is substantially lighter than the rest, however I am fairly certain it isn’t that uncommon and I’ve likely seen before?

I had a conversation with someone the other day “I’ve spent X amount on this scope and X amount on this heat recogniser thingy and X amount on this”.... I said “f**k me I know and appreciate it’s pest control, but where’s the art in it nowadays? Working a lamp? Squeaking a fox in into range? Anyone can pull a trigger?” Now granted I’m no a shooter, I’ve never been a shooter, likely never will be, I know it’s pest control, I get that, but surely to f**k all these gadgets are taking the buzz out of it? Or is it just about the kill not the thrill now?

That’s what I’m trying to get a hold off, fetching silly money on eBay, I bought one of a member but Hermes lost it so I got my money back, then paid a £50 deposit on one to a lad on Facebook, apparently he’s done that to almost 100 folk. So I’m still no further forward and £50 down... ??????

Anyone any info on this deben replacement? I’ve been looking for a locator for months now and have resorted to FB to look (been bumped too) a few folk keep saying hold off, hold off and the deben collars will work with it. Thing is no one can provide any info, release dates, manufacturer etc?

I ordered them last night mate, I’m an 8, tried on my mates 8M and they were “pinching” to use a term, he got me a 9M to try on and they were better, if not slightly too big, ordered a 8.5 so hopefully they are fine ????

I’ve got altbergs which are fine, been thinking about the aku pilgrims as a lighter boot, I will only be doing a bit ferreting, traipsing hills/moors and the odd nights lamping, anyone got any feedback they can give? Cheers
