Me!! To play football, done my knee in and was advised to rest elevate for 6 weeks. Anyway 3 weeks in and I was demented, lurcher just needed to go mental, and I genuinely thought the terrier was in a coma most of the time. Anyway, a couple from this morning it was 2 and a bit very hard miles for me but a walk in the park for the dugs… ferreting tomorrow too ?

Wee wander round the woods with the girls seeing as it’s the last day of the school holidays. Was meant to be ferreting yesterday with my cousin and my pups litter sister but she was hit by a car and killed the other night, so understandably he wasn’t in the right mindset for it

I held her back with jumping due to the leg break but been slowly introducing at least a fence or a wall on every walk, today was her first gate. Just 2 over and backs but it was no bother.

She’ll be 18 months next week, few ferreting trips last season but she will be out a lot more going forward, must admit I was a very uncertain how she would be after her leg break but she shows no signs of hindrance, great nose, great recall can find anything if she gets scent… she’s 100 miles an hour though which is my only concern.
