    Cheeky wee Friday off so had arranged to meet Joe and his dug Glen for 7ish this morning and first light. I had Jess and 4 ferrets and joe had 3 of his. Laid a fair few nets on the first bit between us and got 3 off it, Jess marked well and again held in the nets, still better than nothing. moved along a bit and dogs again marked spot on, took 6 off that bit between us with only 1 dog required. Glen as always is reliable and steady but was chuffed with Jess, marked and worked like she’s been at it for years. penny has well and truly dropped.

    Since Roxi passed, bittersweet coz it’s also my Bairns birthday, Codie has been gone 5 years end of March, miss and think about them every day

Out this morning with the pup and the ferrets, got one out a single holer and another out a 6 holer, pup done well marked the single holer where we got one, showed no interest in another 2 holer where I run a ferret through anyway and got nothing and then marked the 6 holer and held in the net too baby steps.?.

    Met up with my cousin to do a bit that held a half decent amount the past few years, we did 2 years ago with another boy and he went back last year (saw photos on his social media) and done it, and it would appear the same this year too as I found a couple of they shite nets he uses, we took one rabbit off it, anyway good bet laying practice ??
