[thank you for taking the time two reply....i know how two keep the ear clean as she is my 7th bedlington the problem is she has been pulled about so much by the vet ...she knows whats coming it really is a pain.

hello all, i wonder if anybody has experienced severe ear problems with their dogs? i have worked beddies for many years...and i am well aware of the problems associated with them and how to deal with it..but one of the bitches i own suffers very badly with her ears...i am back and fore to the vets for ear wash and antibiotics all the time...what do you use?...any usefull info is very much appreciated. bobby

if your not carefull that pup will end up on the scrap heap..the dog shelters r full of them...as 4 barking when watching the other dogs run...well sounds 2 me like the damage has allready been done...take him back out when he is 10/12months old and u might just b lucky.

another little point ...is when u clean them out rather than put shavings straight back in there cage leave the floor dry out 4 an hour...i have tried all the fancy ideas and found this 2 b the best.

lurchers are great if you live in the right part of the country....when i see some of the ferreting pics on this site i can only dream what it must b like ...i have both spaneils and terriers...and while e.s.s. are great for working cover most wont stay still long enough 2 mark but i know some do ....a terrier is your best bet if u only want 1 dog.

i joined a small rough shooting club and they have access 2 many farms we put a few birds down....and have plenty off wild duck...and all the ferreting u want...the best part is that most of the members never go out u wouldnt believe it..most of the ground is sheep or cattle...but the cover can b very thick and a couple of hard going dogs is a must

in 3o years of ferreting i have only come across this twice...and on both acasions the staot left the earth in a blur....i have also come across little owls..foxes..and other peoples ferrets

I HAVE PERMISION ON A SHOOTING ESTATE ......WHERE WE HAVE HAD GOOD DAYS 4 THE LAST 20 ODD YRS...BUT THIS YEAR THERE WAS NOT A RABBIT 2 B FOUND.....WORKED 3 FARMS ON THE ESTATE AND GOT NOTHING...I READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT DISEASE WHICH STARTED IN CHINA AND CAN WIPE A WHOLE POPULATION OUT IN 36HRS
