  1. i dont understand why this cross is not bred more often....common sense tells you there two big for serious earth work...but as a cover working dog nothing will beat them.

  3. i think the area you are talking about and by your pic is what we call farm fields....that is a very good low water mark...its just opposite the pier head....at the right time of the year can produce some good bass. the area i was trying to explain is a bit further up the river. bobby
  4. to be honest mate you might be better of getting a new dog and starting again....the site of many birds running infront front of your dog will blow his mind...it can be tempting enough for a trained dog. bobby
  5. if you go on the park side of the transporter bridge there is an industrial est...drive through there untill you get to the cement works park there ...and walk to your left its a brilliant little spot..you might allready know it. bobby
  6. hello mate, thats where i had the fish from behind the paper mill ...not the best place to fish from but on the right tide it was brilliant...had some fun trying to get him up those rocks...i dont think we will ever see sport like we used to...went out on a boat from swansea in december all we had was whiting...expencive whiting. bobby
  7. hello wife how are you....its hard to believe how the fishing has declined...my best cod of the beach was 13lb that was not far from the severn bridge...my best from a boat was 22lb on a boat called the alane dominque....20yrs ago before uptiders...floatation suits were ever thought of we had the best winter fishing in the land. bobby

  9. there are good and bad in all breeds...there are many well bred dogs that never make the grade.

  12. DURAMITEX..its used for pigeon lofts dip your dogs in this nothing will beat it...when you have finished with the dogs fill a spray gun and do there kennell .
  13. printer, having seen your excellent pics i would be very interested to know what you think of the border hybreds...compared to the lakeland hybreds...i.e. coat ..size...and working style. i have had two 3/4 breds of s.j...and still have dogs out of this line. regards bobby

  15. boon, i think you will find that you can have your first licence at 15 but you must be supervised with a full licence holder over the age of 18.

  22. hello [bANNED TEXT], autos are great if you are shooting from a hide...because you can hardley notice any recoil...and are a lot kinder on the shoulder if you have had a good days sport...but personally if i wanted a gun for rough shooting i would stick with your 687.
