Alright lad any decorators on here, working away and iv got a guy coming to give the wife a price for papering our living room, 3 walls just plain coloured paper and main wall print, ain't a massive room and about 10 rolls of paper all in, been stripped and will be sanded down before work starts, no painting involved, anyone a idea of a rough price so I can let her know roughly coz she hasn't a clue n don't want her being ripped of. Cheers

Woke up during one in turkey a few years back was weird didn't know what had happened at the time work up n knew something bad had happened wasn't until next day till we found out that's what happend

That's a sobering story mate. Got me thinking back to the days this thread, I've never properly thought about just how bad this was at the time, we would have been in primary 6 when this happened, means we would have been around 10-11, I have a son who is 11, it's no wonder I am so strict and protective with them! Also got thinking about my pals mum, the older brother would have been 16, 17 when he hung himself, the few years later her oldest son died of an overdose, 3 sons she had to bury and she's still going to this day

Some of my best memories as a kid are from on they streets mate, aswell as seeing a lot of bad. I moved away not far but far enough to a supposedly quieter area but it just wasn't the same, we would play on those streets until early hours during the summer holidays with all the mums sitting on the steps watching drinking cups of tea. 2man hunt hide and seek football ect. Great times. Unless shit was going down between guys then get home or if someone came in to the street in a stolen car.

Yeah it was sad alright, he didn't burn to death, smoke inhalation! His brother went to prison over it but hung himself. We didn't have much to do back then other than things like this, and it was impossible back then to venture out of the scheme! Katchum will remember the days lol

The old sunnylaw street in possilpark, absolute poverty but good people, didn't see many police come into this street lol. The tenaments are down now, I remember when they closed them up, we would go home from school then find a way in to the buildings to play, one day me n my best mate went in unknown to his older brother who set the block on fire from the bottom, I managed to get out but my mate opted to hide in an old wardrobe and that was him. Sad time!

I know the same sort of people max, it's not the Irish Catholics who want to support a Scottish team that I'm going on about, it's the Scottish/British guys who want to be Irish and hate the British way of life and as I said it's a lot more than a small minority, that's just a cop out like. If you like it all then I suggest you attend more than a few home games and just listen to the few thousand that will sing these kind of songs, maybe after it you could attend a few rebel nights in Glasgow.

I feel like boxing can be the only way, sure Conor been training boxing loads for years in between other MA, floyd would never be training the likes of k1/Muay Thai, there for his legs ect would be no where near conditioned enough for that shit, sure he wouldn't last a minute with his legs being chopped to bits.
