  1. You started too late in the game mate. ?
  2. Bangers, is it right you make a bag of sand a pair cos your birds fly backwards. Lol.
  3. Get yourself off for another half, you're clearly getting agitated cos someone with a buried collie x is making more sense than a saluki owener who decides to get his dog fit at the back end of the season just in time for the milky does. ?
  4. Better still, create your own fog/smoke. What about jammer drones/equipment? If we are thinking about it it must have been thought over a million times already.
  5. Of course, you could be unfortunate and drop on a dud but if you get a pup off a well bred litter you've got a better chance of getting a real un than you would off a pair of also-rans.
  6. The aim of the breeding game is to at the very least preserve what you've got. If you can't do that then should you really be breeding? Freaks can show up every now and again but it's all about the percentages isn't it.
  7. Easy that ain't it, just stay indoors or hangout where there's a shit load of civilians? ?
  8. OK, it's just pure luck that certain breeds or types have been perfected for the tasks they carry out. And that's what I said, it's down to the breeder to know what clicks with his bitch. By breeding what in theory is the right dogs you're giving yourself the best odds. You seem to have it all sussed Bangers, if it's just luck give it a try, I mean anyone can do it.
  9. Good point, my pigeon hit the first window it came to in the Yorkshire Stakes.
  10. How can selective breeding be just luck ffs. ? Some folk actually understand what clicks and what doesn't, if it wasn't for these sort of men we wouldn't have breeds or types would we. I'll get out plenty around here mate but I'll pop over for a walk when I can mC. I'll show you how to walk in the slop. ?
  11. Well no shit sherlock, that goes for every litter bred in history ffs. At some point the breeder picks which dog or bitch he is keeping and the rest is history lol. You think it's just luck that the top dog lads always end up with the best dogs, think you are doing them a disservice myself lol. My collie X is 6ft under lol, I'll be getting a coursing bred when I drop on the right litter and it will actually get worked mate. ?
  12. Transvestite triggered potato shooters.
  13. I'm not sure you can say Sankey and Nuttall got lucky cos they bred their greats didn't they? Yeah MP dropped on with Lucky as he bought him in but he still had to do the business with him and put the work in.
  14. That's it mate, you can't polish a turd can you. It's interesting to talk about the history of the greats even though they are long gone. Good dog men though bring out the best in these animals, Sankey is like an old mate of mine who is now winning trials with his Labs, always had lurchers in his younger years but now has put his time in to the gundogs.
  15. Well that just shows even the best of dogmen can chat rubbish when the green eyed monster takes hold. To win 26 matches on the bounce you are bound to run against lads with capable dogs at some point. If these men want to be anonymous though it's no good talking about it if they don't want the publicity. I personally will be happy to get myself a well bred pup and start getting back out there. ?
  16. If it gets boring they can choose not to comment, what else should we be talking about, the weather? I'm sorry but money doesn't mean much, if folk had the time and space they could do it themselves, they don't have to reinvent the wheel. If you have standards and no a thing or two about dogs you will breed tidy animals. The likes of Sankey and Nuttall clearly knew their dogs and got the best out of them.
  17. It's just small talk mate, nothing more nothing less. Speaking of Bulldozer, a top coursing man told me Bulldozer was a cob hoss lol, didn't rate him then. What are the modern dogs that have been winning?
  18. I get that but it's good to know the details, of course Dancer defeating Foxy doesn't necessarily mean she was a better dog and vice versa. Luck plays it's part when in comps, i.e, slips, hares. Also, did the dogs run their semi finals on the same days.
  19. Does anybody have any info on the final where Dancer beat Foxy? What was the crack with the tournament, was it run on consecutive days until a winner was found? What did the score end up with them?
