    Any runner that got clipped etc she was first dog to stay on drive to go retrieve it. I don't understand why people think cockers are any more hypo than a springers.

    My first dog my grandfather found me was a cocker. He trained gun dogs (black labs) but took a like to her which was the first being she was spaniel. She was the dog I learnt everything from. Home life she chilled out with the ducks out back but on shoots she was a class dog, picked up all day on large shoots. Couldn't fault my cocker... She is now 16 and lives at my mums house. I wouldn't have a bad work about cocker's depending what your looking for.

    Did you not get handed 'Released pending further in investigation' papers? That's the only grounds they have to keep your dog . Its black and white, the police do what they want if you let them. Law is law

    Hi guys and girls! I'm Kier, been shooting and working gun dogs since I was a lil nipper, studied Environmental Conservation + land management through bicton college, volunteer for F. C but currently a carpenter for income. Was recommended this site through the local shoot, and I'm liking some content I've read. Looking at getting a terrier for light work such as ratting, bushing and the odd so an so. Unfortunately my Ex partner has my lurcher so who knows, maybe the future might bless me with another.     Hi, I'm looking into getting a white dog. I'm not looking to do serious work just some ratting, bushing and the odd whatever... Hence not a black terrier. I thought a plummer could be an option, I've looked at a few breeders lines but can't work out who's genuine. Any info or advice would be great. Thanks, k
