  1. ive loaded a few 2 1/4 ounce for the crows and for when i go up to scotland loaded with 38 grain of blue dot. need a licence for the black powder now nitro you can get no problem
  2. does any body on here reload their own 10 bore? if so what load do you use? powder, shot etc has anybody ever loaded any black up for the 10? how many drams would it be for 2ounce of shot? also what does a dram equal to grain? cheers.
  3. well done chrisse. cant beat a bit of goosing or wildfowling had a few me self under the moon at the weekend on the fields nothing on the marsh though. whippiter its a pinkfoot is that. chris.
  4. thats what i thought aswell. good job ive got another 10 bore or 2 spare was getting on well with that gun too didnt miss a goose with it this season. does any body know were i could get a stock blank big enough to do me own from? cheers chris
  5. took the pup back straight away and the vet did some tests straight away said their was no signs of anaphalatic shock or anything else wrong with the organs. siad it had worms and that killed it had been wormed the day before. samples were sent off to a lab for tests aswell and everything came back inconclusive. got a letter from the vetanary defence council saying im entitaled to £44 back the price of the jabs and that is credited to the vets were il not be going back too again
  6. cheers she is a very usefull bitch. i bred of her eairler this year with the idea of keeping a pup back wich i did till i took it to the vets for its 1st injections 20 minutes later it dropped dead
  7. id just come back from under the moon and put it in the slip and lent it on a bush and the dog nocked it over. never noticed till the next day when i was sat out on the marsh till i caught me hand on it. geese were pouring over my head aswell. if you look at the top picture thats were the crack starts
  8. can any body recomend any body who would be able to repair or replcae a stock for a 10 bore sbs heres a pic is it repairable or not cheers chris
  9. just a few pictures of my labradour shes coming up to 4 next year. i use her for rough shooting, beating picking up and out on the marsh were i do a lot of shooting shes a good wildfowling dog pixks geese for the fun of it she was in pup when this pic was taken
  10. i attended a talk given by that duncan thomas hes a tit! i recognise the place got a few mates who live round their i shall ask them if they no anymore. theirs a police operation round here (lancashire) called operation sika c**ts they are keep gettin followed about when im out and about. ive also been told about a shoot keeping hares pegged on the shoot days in their fridges as evidence!!!!

    i live in longridge and work out of leyland and quite often see the fella with the salukis walking near lostock hall ery close to some of my old permission. use to be full of rabbits till mixy got on their. were our yard is it back onto the railway and the fields at the back of their are quite often filled with rabbits. going for a look round longton this afternoon with me mate and his dogs
  12. im in the north west too i was going down the m58 yesterday morning and was thinking the excact same about the pigeons too, also the pinks are in round here too got 8 yesterday morning inland and got 4 out on the marsh under the moon on the big tides last weekend.
  13. hello im chris, im from lancashire ive got a terrier wich i use for ratting and a labradour as a gun dog, and one ferret, i do a lot of shooting mainy wildfowling over the season a lot of pigeon and crow shooting over summer, ferreting and a lot of lamping mainly with the rifles and some times with the dogs, im after getting a lurcher when i find a suitable pup, cheers chris.
