I've not had an air rifle since I was a teenager but got one as a christmas present. I've also applied for my shotgun licence as i've got some shooting permission. Took the dogs on the land today and all I saw was a solitary rabbit so decided to try and bait some rats that are living in old straw. Met up with Wheres Wally from this site and waited. Didn't have long to wait before a rat appeared and my first shot with my new gun resulted in a dead rat. I also have permission for crows, pigeons etc and wondered what the best pellet is?

Can anyone help? At the moment I have a lazerlite lamping kit with a 7a battery. The battery has stopped holding it's charge and I need to replace it. The problem is can I just buy a new battery from a supplier? Will the wiring be on the new battery to plug the lamp into? This is something new as I have only ever purchased complete kits. I'm well pleased Chilli, a great addition to any collection. The book has proved a real test to obtain My wife can't understand why I have spent the past 18 years building up a collection of lurcher/terrier books and couldn't understand why I wanted to spend £100 on one book. I guess it's something you can only understand if you are gathering a good collection
