    Had many many 3lb and 5/6 over 4lb on the river hull at hempholme fishing under the swing bridge on live roach. I'll have a look in the photo album tomoz and did out some pics

    When I fish the Wharfe I usually fish 12mm spicy sausage dumbbell as hook bait over pva bags of red robins with a 4/5 foot hook length. Like I say I've not been short of fish just just cant hit the bigger fish.

    Sorry. Theraband gold. 30 to 25 not sure what length I got last time but the new ones max out about 2" short. Never made my own wouldn't know were to start will have to look into it. Thanks

    So I've been fishing the river wharfe for barbel for the last few years and had some good numbers never had less than 4 and most was 11 on a night sesh between 17.30 and 07.30 then home. But they have all been between 6lb and 7.5lb. Now I know that's not a bad nights fishing on the barbel but I really want to catch some bigger ones this year and with season fast approaching I could do with some tips on places to go. Now I know everyone like to keep there Favourite spots under wraps hence the long shot barble info title lol but any info would be much appreciated. I'm in hull so closer the bette

    Well that was a waste of time didnt see a single thing. Was still a few dog walkers about aswell. Be back out just before dusk see what I can see. Hard work with these bands tho having to have a floating anchor with bands been a bit short for me.

    Well the new bands have finally arrived but there a bit shorter than my last set gurrrr. So have a quick plink in back yard and took some getting used too. Looks like its guna rain so guna sling a jacket on and go for a mooch see what's about. Hopefully not many covid dog walkers. I'll let u know how I get on

    Was guna say that he prob just wants to be home with someone else in the family. If my kids take dog for a walk round block she pulls lead out there hand and runs home to me soon as our house is out of sight.

    Was a hand made from a conifer tree but dog got hold of it and made it into tooth picks. Used 30 to 25 gold bands and 9.5 steel. Was not the best looking thing but loved it shot so nice.

    Thanks everyone they went down a treat. No more shooting for me at the min tho. Orderd some bands last week and checked and they still havent been sent yet and I snapped my last set that I'd mane up of other snapped sets yestaday. So have no elastic till God knows when. Gurrrrr
