Iv hunted that canal since I was a teenager I no every hole in the ground on it had some cracking days along there had a boy down from Dundee his terrier was in dug down about a metre just broke thru an the hole started filling with water got the terrier but the fox drowned another day fox bolted into the canal my terrier was right in after it latched on an both sunk haha middle December I was in soaked same result got dog fox drowned ffs …. An a wheaten that went thru ice another soaking an still went for a dig that day haha
