  1. is that because its its first race.
  2. its still flesh and bone matey,if its worked it will get marked up! if the prey gets chance to then yeah but if it is a good dog then it will be dispatched almost instantly there is quary to put plenty of work wear on a dog like that here uk no matter how good on that quary, any dispute then you have never seen the like graft.
  3. i wouldnt entertain that sort of cross bird what has it got to offer the all round lurcher man ,were as a bin hound type would fit the bill for most, they can catch a tip rot any were.
  4. yes whin i have and your right he breeds a lot for ascetics but theres a market for it,i know what your saying about the coate type and real working types tend not to throw heavey coates but tite and wirey and dont over heat as borders do.ive see hancock and farm or home bred collie crosses graft some good and bad in both to be totaly fair wich is what youve got to be un blinkerd.
  5. its to late if its a dislocation get them sorted in 48 hrs realy other wise they tend not to heal to well and just keep popping out, only thing for it then is have it off.
  6. if you like the dog mate have the lad take you out with it if your happy then happy days, any one worth his salt would take you and show you any claim.atb.
  7. sounds great that had a week on that loch some of the biggest rainbows ive ever seen and some big pike on the fly beautiful place, the locals even said that the water quality was so good that the rainbows were possibly breeding.atb
  8. ive a collie grey bitch very soft mouthed, not seen anything big but rabbits and pheasant partridge very live to hand when skined out not a mark on them, same cant be said for the older bitch.
  9. ive had both beardie and border and found them to be good honest type animals but as with every type of lurcher you get good and bad we all know. ive found borders easier round the home but i think beardies have the edge on the hunting side ,the down side to beardies are that keeping them pend up is a big mistake and can take forever to come into their own maturity wise wich for a lot of lads would be unbearable. the bitch ive got now is a border first cross but is a good graftin bitch on anything i put her to.
