  8. ALL named blood lines of AM Bulldog are for show, the only place to get a real Bulldog is from a hog hunter and most are just crossbred for type and skill not to be "pure bred", LOT of Curr, pointer, hound, or cattle type dogs.. If it is registered it is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well then they are not bulldogs if they are bred with all types and you cant label everything bred along those lines as crap be they named breeds of bulldog or not.why would hog hunter use bull blood if it was total crap.folk in britain cannot comment on strains here on hogs for obviouse reasons.

  12. the dog in the pic further back is not bred for show just function and he is a good guard, plenty of back bone with a big bite, when out for a run hunts well for the breed he is but obviously their is plenty better.the show gang have done nothing to his breeding as you can see he was not bred to bully looking for show reasons but tro be functional and athletic.
  13. hello sky cat, just a few we ones for you and im not trying to start any debait just sky cats opinion, would you say the working airdales you keep are on pare with a good type bullterrier or a wheaton in the prey drive department,i have no exsperience with them but would say they look very workman like, have you any exsperience with say a first cross type and do they produce what you have already stated but in a lurcher.thanks doga.

  19. ill agree with that kreet, folks need to travel meet like minded folk and realy open their eyes to what is about and how the dogs are bred,in all honesty its hard to find genuine folk that are genuinly constructive in what they say about your dogs as long as it is constructive critisisum not blind gelousey.a lot of kennel blindness also exists no matter haw good the ability of a hound if its not got the hole package it should not be bred from.going back to the original thred i do feel all the mentioned blood could add well to a strain of lurcher if put to gether properly.i like collie blooded a
  20. this dog is bred through performance lines and has a massive prey drive although for me to big to produce functional working lurchers,as mentioned the smaller more original type bulldogs would be a better type dog to use.if you know your stuff the old original type very very rare would be as good as pits or working staffs the sort not tamperd with for asthetics as been the case in america before they came back to our shores.in all honesty stick with what has been proven here good working leggy staffs or their cousins even better.
  21. it is his choice and he would do well looking if he could at different breeders and ill tell you when you get to some of their houses youle be shocked at the state of some, not all.point being your garanteed your particular cross be what it may and trying to find pups being bred is not easy.ive looked for months and months for a certain cross and not found it,then if you do and you have a choice, how do you determin who and what is genuine who are breeding just for money, realy you woudnt know unless you were intimate.so with out supporting what hancock is and does the one thing you can garantee
  22. what a job breaking every young filly you can find, the one in guam sound good as well lol.
