    I think the "man" that started the thread might just be able to make some decent wires ,hence the reason for the thread ?? but i might be wrong ,as the name says "confused" and what would i know? Confused you are partly right, i put these shop bought rubbish snares up free to good home as they are no use to me, also to let people know that these type of snares are for sale all over the country and are pure shite and only fit for the bin, as i said they might be of use for something else but not for rabbits, they are too short and loosely spun If you need some professional rabbit snares

    Free to good home, a quantity of shop bought 6 & 8 strand rabbit snares that i can offer you at 25 of either per taker.These are loose wound without eyes as sold in many gun shops & agricultural merchants. PURE RUBBISH ANY TAKERS ? .The snares are free but I must charge £2.00 p&p to cover my cost.They could be used for repairing holes in wire netting or for some other use ?     I take it that that's is the wire from Comax ? The 70/30 relates to the mix of copper and zinc to make the brass, a different mix makes it harder or softer. Geordie.

Pm him. i think its .457 size you want , i should know as i bought 100 kg of the stuff a few years back, snareman will correct me if i,m wrong but i would check first before you go ordering any Yes Moley your right rabbit brass snare wire measures 0.455 m/m or 0.457 m/m . hope this helps Geordie..

    22 1/2 inch , six strand snare is more than enough,for pegged snares , who the hell needs an 8 strand snare people who make and sell these don,t know much about snaring, they are usually salesmen with their mind on nothing except profit , ive tried 24 inch nooses also the loop is just to big and misses occur thats why i do not use them , i make all my nooses 22 1/2 long and use them for pegged snares and also fences , because all fences are different and some times the wires can be five mil. in diameter and 6 inches apart , therefore the usual shop bought shit is absolutely no use , people hav
