Hi all Whats best for housing my dogs ? thats my question, easy you may think only i know that!!! Well this is how i do it at present,, my dogs sleep outside in a well built run out the way from wind and heavy stress from the elements. however during the day i let them into our house while we are in, they lay on the rugs and just do normal dog stuff (not a lot!),but if we go out like to work there go out in the run. on a night there sit in front of the fire as dogs do just sleeping nice and warm,but when we go to bed there go out and at present its -5. am i doin the right thing by l

With the sound of it you are not tying your snares on properly,you need to use the half hitch knot,there was a post up in this section about it. Use that knot and you will not lose a rabbit or snare. you could be getting hares as well in your snares,thats why you are loosing snares,the way you tie them might hold rabbits,just,but i don't think they will hold a hare. hi you deffinately need to change your knot to a 3 or 4 half hitch`s, just wrapping it round the fence wire might hold some but only just and rabbits even will pull them free nevermind hares etc. if a fox is taking them the

thats a good fish,the record was 8lb 13oz caught from the river lea before that was the river tees at blackwell which held the record for around 8 years i belive. so well done anyway it will take some beaten especially from a river.........

hi all about 10 weeks ago one of the kids stepped back onto the dogs toe,she give a good yelp and cried a bit not the normal cry.she was limping a lot so i took her to the vets. the vet said she dont think its broke just go easy with her for a few weeks and see how it goes.i did for 4 weeks and seemed ok i then raced her a over 200yrds at a club and she was limping again so i keep her on the lead for a further 5 weeks raced again and was fine... yesterday i went out ferreting with her so she got a few runs etc twisting and turning and again ended up limping with her toe problem. can anyon

hi all went out yesterday for the first time this season(bit early maybe). i replaced all the battries in both box and collars and seemed ok then while the ferrets were underground there both went off. i got one ferret back the other is still at large.i went back this morn but no luck. the collar i got back works but when you fiddle about with the battrey cap it goes on and off. has anyone had the same trouble ? can there be fixed? thanks matt

thanks all for the advise so far and has for the river i fish on are the river wye ,river lugg and river seven when i get chance hi mate well you got some of the best rivers to go at,i find fridge raiders work spot on for barbel you get them from tesco in a few flavours. also if you want to make your own bollies you will need a base mix.you can buy this from a good tackle shop and all the flavours you will need... brigenorth on the seven is a fab stretch...... good look
