  16. Hi all My bitch had a litter of 10 pups 8 weeks ago,all went well with no problems and the pups are all strong and healthy. The problem is this was 8 weeks ago and lately on two ocassions ive noticed tiny bits of blood on the floor after she has got up,both times being this weekend. The bitch(Amber) in herself is fine eating running etc. thanks for any comments. matt
  17. hi all no mate im not keeping one unfortunitly, the reason being i have both parents the sire is 2 and the dam is 5. there is plenty of working life left in the two ive got and to keep another i would be left with 3 dogs that are too old to work in say 8 years time. would love too though matt

  19. You need to source a different vet Matt. My brother in laws dog cut the top of it's tail on Sunday night, he took it to the vets at 8pm and got 5 staples put in it plus anti biotics and they charged him £27. your right there tote £27 thats more like it...
  20. No we have the NHS for people but I don't think that covers dogs so either you pay or the dogs go without treatment. Purple spray won't help and may even slow healing! think you missed my point. thanks again matt
  21. thanks for the advise, does that mean i should`t have anymore kids if i cant afford private treatment????? thanks matt
  22. hi mate all young kits bite even if you did correct them it would do no good there would just nip again the next day. when there start working it calms them down a million everytime....... good luck with your fingers for now lol matt
  23. hi all i went out ferreting on sunday and my dog cut the inside of his leg on some barbed wire. the cut itself is only to the skin no mussle damage at all. i took him to the vet today and he said to stich up the wound it would be £300!!!!!!!! he said the next option would be to leave it to heal naturally and just keep it clean but it would take a while. i opted for this and got a 2 week course of antibiotics with some cleaning solution. £300 for stiches there make it impossible to treat our dogs. Any advise would be a great help.. thanks matt
  24. ferrets will eat it no probs if there dont send it to me i will lol, matt
