  6. hi i ferreted a set about two years ago with a friend, a set id done a few times before with success. we entered ferrets sat back and waited nothing then tried to locate and it stayed in same position. we dug down to find the ferret half dead also with its eye popping out so we put it out its misery as you would. the tunnel we dug down to was larger then normal and relised there was a badger now occuping the set. we found a entrance hole for the badger under a holy bush which i had total missed and not even seen any hole there before even from rabbits. its a nightmere when something like

  12. hi all the best way to kill the rabbit fast and effective every time is this. hold the back legs put your hand in front of the rabbits ears and push down and away from you. it works within a second done! the important bit is hand in front of the ears NOT behind(neck side) i done behind the ears for years and allow it works this way is so quick and easy. thanks matt
  13. hi like gibby said try small sets on her own will pick it up after a few outings but i would put the collar on,we all have tried without and ended up digging,waiting then back the next day to get back the ferret if lucky. no rabbits and your ferret back is better than no rabbits and no ferret. good luck matt
