    I have two JRs great on the rats,rabbits & ankles of people i don't want on my land

    All terriers are great nothing better than being out with your dogs working i have a couple of JRs & they are fantastic workers.

    I am a terrier man myself but after reading all these post i just want to say that i have a shoot & one of guns that come on the shoot brings along his dogs, two chocolate labs, now i don't know a lot about labs but from what i have seen of his & what they do in the field i cant see where the problem is, the only reason dogs have changed is because of humans, terriers are working dogs but because of humans 60% of them are now lap dogs, & from the number of fat labs i see i would say a big percentage of them are never worked, if your going to get a working dog, then work it & i

    well worth it but dont spend loads of money on decoys just a few shells will do fine until you want to go the next step

    unfortunately everybody has to make a living, & the way the government & retailers are hammering the farming community down sooner or later the farmer will have to make changes to make a living,so what would every Airgunner do if the farmers decided to start charging, just give up there hobby & take up going to watch football matches at £40 a go, this is what i don't understand people will pay silly amounts of money for days out at the theme park, football & down the pub & have nothing to show for it ! but when it comes to doing something they get great satisfaction out o

    Once again thanks for your support it is much appreciated, the reason i set up the shoot days for Airguns is that a lot of people were telling me they had Airguns but no land to use them & people who have had Airgun for some years but have not had the chance to use them so they are just sat in a cupboard under the stairs, hopefully this will give them people the chance to get an interest back in the sport. For those who have seen the web site you will have noticed that i also allow under 16s to shoot free with a paying adult, i hope that this encourages not only families to spend time

    take the land its not often you get offered things free in life, but beware of the rabbits once they are in they are like imigrants, they will bring the rest make no mistake.

    1) Why shoot other peoples land when you have so much of your own? The other land i shoot is a very old friend of mine who can no longer take care of the vermin/pest on his land so i help him out along with two others.

    i can guarantee live quarry how many shots depends on how good you are, if i was to guarantee that you would shoot 10 rabbits 10 rooks 10 pigeons & 10 magpie then it turns out you cant even hit a barn door would you expect your money back

    I wouldn't be prepared to pay anything for shooting pests which you are legally obliged to control. The start of a slippery slope imo i control pest, vermin myself & not just my land, not a lot of people are fortunate to have land to shoot with live quarry,£35 is a start price thats why i asked for peoples comments if the price needs to come down then it may do,you would pay more than that to watch a premier football match or go to a theme park,you also pay your local council to takeaway your rubbish & clear pests but do you quibble about that ? & do you get any enjoymen
