big money ???? 500 notes is not that much per gun in the big shoots world ? £500 is not big money in the world of big shoots, but in the real world of the working man it is, why anyone would want to pay that type of money to shoot 150-200-300 birds i don't get, & half the time the guns don't even take any birds with them, i know on my shoot i have put 200 birds over the guns & they have only shot 40-50 but at the end of the day all the birds have been taken if not by the guns then the beaters take them. you get the same pleasure & excitement if not more on the sma -

personaly i think its all a load of bollocks, football is full of over paid, under performing, self centered tosers, one week they are running around the pitch kissing the badge on there shirt with the over paid managers jumping up and down on the touch line with the fans thinking they are the best thing since sliced feckin bread. Then six months later the player is kissing the badge of another club with the fecking manager willing his new team to beat his old club what the feck is it all about

we have a cock day so hopefuly most of them will be shot, but some do escape so we try to catch as many as we can so they dont stress the new poults when they arrive. All the hens are left do as they wish

Having a shotgun certificate will help you, but if you have never owned a centre fire rifle before you may be asked to provided details of someone with an open ticket who will accompany you on the first couple of occasions, the police usual call this a provision. The person you nominate will have to write to your local FAO to advise them that you are a competent person with a centre fire rifle & after this the provision will be lifted. Speak to your local FAO & find out all you need to do before you apply, good luck with your application
