  1. Would not worry to much mate, as secondary poisoning if it was only a rat it would not have enought poison in its system to kill your dog, might end up being sick if that? would clean out the cut and keep your eye on it, was at the vet with my lab last year and it ate something along those grounds and vet gave me the all clear and it was more than a rat and that had been poisoned! Thanks for that mate, ive cleaned her up well and given her antibiotic, usually they drop the rat as soon as theyve shook it, but thats because there ready for the next one, this lil b*****d entered the wro

  5. Just gone out to two of my Staffy bitches in there kennel and there was quite a bit of blood about, my one bitch has a small bite wound to her face and theres bits of bone in the bed. I can only assume a rat has entered there run and they've shared it, we live next to a brook so there always close. Bit concerened now as to weather the rat was poisened or diseased. Will keep a close eye on them tonight. What ya reckon lads?

  10. Join a kc good citizens scheme mate there fantastic, as well as you learning how to train your dog you get to socialise the pup to. Little and often is the key. Most start with a clicker and then you will soon start tweaking things to suit yourself and your hunting needs. ATB DOUG

  12. I feed Barf, pure raw meat with Boabmeal, Garlic powder, unpasterised apple cider vinigar, dorwest keepers mix and easygreen. It costs a bit to get it all but it lasts ages and makes the world of difference. Remember once changing a dog to barf they will look like shit for the first 3 weeks but after that they turn into the beautiful swan. Tinned pilchards one day a week and offle one day a week. Any help gis a shout hun, oh and feed 2% of the dogs body weight in meat as a general then up it or down it depending on the look of the dog ATB THE DOG X

  18. West highland terriers have killed in this country mate, you cant blame a whole breed for a select few attacks, its the people at the other end of the lead in my eyes. To add if you own aNab, i would reccomend pup classes at the earliest of ages and see it through, you will be amased at how more equipped these classes make you. ATB THE DOG
