  1. Thanks for that mate, il look into that.
  2. Nice one buddy better than any you will buy for sure. Try these, massive crops for a pot plant http://www.dtbrownseeds.co.uk/seeds-plants-gardening/12046/french-bean-easy-picking-duel
  3. Looks like a wild perenial to me mate, snapdragon or simular. Now as far as the mares tale goes, not bloody easy mate, i burn it myself and cover with plastic sheets. It is thought to have survived from the dinosaur times, i think the Romans brought it over to plant on the railway lines. Some weed killers will have a go at it but because of its waxy exterior not good enough, unless you crush the plant first. I dont think you relly ever get rid of it, more like keep it under control TBH, it doesnt take much from the ground though.
  4. You gotta love em, my bother in law is a scouse (spits out). He is convinced there gonna win the league next season, reckons they would have pissed it had Dalglish started the season with em. . This time next year..............................................................................................................
  5. I still say in his prime he was the greatest heavy weight of all time, but as the saying goes "if you dont use it you lose it"
  6. lol yea me to sorry craigy i like you mate, but i despise your team lol no worries mate, its understandable you hate and despise us...its cos were the fecking best its that red whisley soaked ferguson that gets on my goat.ill say one thing for him if i must,he is a f*****g master at mind games.i still laugh when i think of keegan losing it on tv.ferguson must have pissed himself I thought it was funnier watching Rafa cracking up "FACT"
  7. Off to the Allotment to nurture my crops, then in to the Bees for an inspection, then im hoping to see the Mighty reds lift the 19th title and taske Liverpools bragging rights for good!! then 5 minuites later im hoping to see the lads in the Stretford add another year to the city callander . then the rest of the day with the muts.
  8. If the pup can grow Golden Virginia its a done deal  YIS D
  9. Cheers Craig, the whole landscape of our Allotments have changed drasticly over the last few years, poly tunnels, fgruit cages etc. Now ive got the basics there, im planning on running the greenhouse off a wind turbine so i can enjoy my hydroponics side of things. ATB D P.S Enjoy the 19th title son
  10. About 100g per plant Just waiting for the posty now
  11. you defo need sugar in it tho imo it adds some sweetness to the smoke!! Well if thats not a good enough reason to spin a couple of supers off my Bee hives i dot know what is. Thanks for the tip ATB D
  12. Here you go lads, this is where i got my seeds from http://www.tobaccoseed.co.uk/ This has been useful also http://www.coffinails.com/ Heres a decent guide for anyone interested. I'll keep the thread alive with step by step, wish me luck YIS D
  13. after the rabbits behind the sheds, the bullcross used to do all the runnin and jumpin but now she's gone he has to do it himself, the terrier is in there behind him somewhere too!!! Nice to see that the Bullcross left him with enough experience to see himself right Also its nice to see a Shar pei without the overdone wrinkles, belter that ATB D
  14. I use my BBQ as a smoker as well, its one of those round ones with the lids(with open and close vents in. L1 ive only ever used oak chippings but i saw Heston the mad chef using Tea, is it nice mate?? Just to add you will need air holes so it allows the smoke to breath and cinder.
  15. Striker for me also, but i do like my Blitz
  16. Thanks lads  Jacob!!! i had planned to buy some off him a year or so ago but then got tied up with other stuff so didnt get it up and running, i couldnt remember his name so that was partly why i started the thread. (All i could think of is he is about 6ft 6 and a big ugly fecker sticking his fingers up in his avatar  Thanks for the imput lads, the Bat Guano looks pretty interesting, just looking at the caveman site now. Mushroom, the lights woiuld be the perfect answer but the cost of running wouldnt justify (now if there were somthing more vauable to grow :hmm
  17. Got a lovely bed prepared for a hundred Golden Virginia plants, i believe they like Ammonia so my Chicken muck will be spot on i guess, looking forward to this crop. Anyone else growing there own?? if not why?? YIS D
  18. Thanks lads, its been a bloody long 4 years TBH. This is the first year ive been able to enjoy it without having to build somthing or run the Allotment Assositation single handed. The log cabin was free as i collected the logs from Kinver edge (red ceader), also the windows (wooden double glazed) came from outside a skip at the local window place. Ive just prepared a nice sized plot for my Baccy (GOLDEN VIRGINIA) ATB LADS
